Let G be a compact connected semisimple Lie group, g the Lie algebra of G, g the canonical metric (the biinvariant Riemannian metric which is induced from the Killing form of g), and $\nabla$ be the Levi-Civita connection for the metric g. Then, we get the fact that the Levi-Civita connection $\nabla$ in the tangent bundle TG over (G, g) is a Yang-Mills connection.

The bactericidal activities of DW286, a new fluoroquinolone were investigated by comparing the minimal bactericidal concentrations (MBCs) and the time-kill curve of it against some Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains. The MBCs of DW286 for the strains tested were either equal to or two-fold higher than the MICs, as were observed for the other fluoroquinolones. And DW286 exhibited rapid killing curves against the strains. Accordingly, it could be said that DW286 has bactericidal activity comparable to other fluoroquinolones.

This paper describes a Battle Group Combat Simulation Model (called 'BAGSIM'). BAGSIM is developed to be used as an experimental tool for studies about combat modelling at battle group level. Thus it takes many of the parameters and situations into consideration at this level, and it is designed to be easily adapted to represent equivalent situations to the other more aggregated models. Further the main processes occurring in its simulation procedure such as target detection process, target selection process, firing and killing processes are verified by comparison with the existing stochastic duel models.

인공면역시스템을 이용한 침입탐지시스템 개발을 위해 적용한 동적클론선택(Dynamic Clonal Selection) 알고리즘과 그의 문제점을 소개하고 개선된 동적클론선택 알고리즘을 제안한다. 개선된 동적클론선택 알고리즘은 정상행위를 비정상행위로 판단하는 기억 탐지 자들을 제거함으로써 기존에 동적클론선택 알고리즘이 안고 있던 오류를 감소시키는 방안을 제시한다.

In this paper, it is investigated Lorentz force equations for $N_1$ and $N_2$-magnetic curves in 3-Dimensional Euclidean space. We give the Lorentz force in the Bishop frame in ${\mathbb{E}}^3$. Then, we obtain a new characterization for a magnetic field V. Also, we also give examples for each curve.

Noise pollution is present all places and affects health negatively. It feels more like that to the patients. When the patient in severe condition is being taken to the emergency room, we have to overcome the siren noise of ambulance. Patients are also more terrified by the sound of sirens. Instead of siren noise, why not use the sound of Buk (Korean drum) for patient, citizens, and social elements including animals and plants?

Using the results in the paper [12], we give an estimate for the first positive and negative Dirac eigenvalue on a 7-dimensional Sasakian spin manifold. The limiting case of this estimate can be attained if the manifold under consideration admits a Sasakian Killing spinor. By imposing the eta-Einstein condition on Sasakian manifolds of higher dimensions 2m + 1 ≥ 9, we derive some new Dirac eigenvalue inequalities that improve the recent results in [12, 13].

Continuously welded tracks, first introduced on train lines, are being used increasingly in Europe. And the different arc welding methods are only used on minor lines, private tracks and in the manufacturing of switches and crossings. Mobile flash butt welding belongs the future in rail welding on side if new tracks have to be erected. The following contribution reviews the processes available, usual test methods for welded rail joints and various applications.
