From the ancient to these days, there have been used many kinds of pigment which have two types that are inorganic pigment and organic pigment. At the ancient times, natural pigment had been used but the artificially mixed pigment has been used in modern times. By the way, searching for studies has been studied recently, it would be said the ancient pigments such as Danchung, Wall painting and Mural painting are the mainthema. However, studies about the pigments used in modern pictured relics have rarely can be found. Therefore, this analysis of Ilweolokdo would be important at the point of the pigments used in pictures of royal family in modern times and the results can be briefly summarized as below; Firstly, the results of qualitative analysis of the pigments that base or all pigments of picture was detected components of Ca, Fe and As, this results meaning that picture was used filler and basic paint. Secondly, a result of the analysis on the composition elements of the pigments shows that the main components in their composition are ;White - Lead Cyanamide($2PbCO_3$.$Pb(OH)_2$) or Titanium Oxide($TiO_2$)Blue - Ultramarine($2(Na_2O$.$Al_2O_3$ .$2Si_O2$).$Na_2S_2$)Green - Emerald green($C_2H_3A_s3Cu_2O_8$)Gold - Gold(Au), Red-Red Lead($Pb_3O_4$) or Cinnabar(HgS)Black - Carbon(C)Thirdly, X-ray diffraction analysis of crystalline structure for the blue and green pigment peeling off in picture shows that the components of blue pigment is Ultramarine($2(Na_2O$.$Al_2O_3$ .$2Si_O2$).$Na_2S_2$) and green pigment is Emerald green($C_2H_3A_s3Cu_2O_8$). Especially, microcrystalline structure of the green pigment was the shape like a cross section of wood. Consequently, we knew through the analysis of qualitative and microcrystallinestructures seen on the cross section of analyzed pigments layer that the all pigments used in the Ilweoloakdo is possible to use synthetic pigments in modern.
This study investigated a graded-refractive-index (GRIN) coating pattern capable of improving the light extraction efficiency of GaN light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The planar LEDs had total internal reflection thanks to the large difference in refractive index between the LED semiconductor and the surrounding medium (air). The main goal of this paper was to reduce the trapped light inside the LED by controlling the refractive index using various compositions of (TiO2)x(SiO2)1-x in GRIN LEDs consisting of five dielectric layers. Several types of multilayer LEDs were simulated and it was determined the transmittance value of the LEDs with many layers was greater than the LEDs with less layers. Then, the specific ranges of incident angles of the individual layers which depend on the refractive index were evaluated. According to theoretical calculations, the light extraction efficiency (LEE) of the five-layer GRIN is 25.29 %, 28.54 % and 30.22 %, respectively. Consequently, the five-layer GRIN LEDs patterned enhancement outcome LEE over the reference planar LEDs. The results suggest the increased light extraction efficiency is related to the loss of Fresnel transmission and the release of the light mode trapped inside the LED chip by the graded-refractive-index.

The synthesis of Pt nanoparticles and catalytically active materials using the electrochemical top-down approach involves dispersing Pt electrodes in an electrolyte solution containing alkali metal cations and support material powder using an alternating pulsed current. Platinum is dispersed to form particles with a predominant crystallographic orientation of Pt(100) and a particle size of approximately 7.6±1.0 nm. The dispersed platinum particles have an insignificant content of PtOx phase (0.25±0.03 wt.%). The average formation rate was 9.7±0.5 mg cm-2 h-1. The nature of the support (carbon material, metal oxide, carbon-metal oxide hybrid) had almost no effect on the formation rate of the Pt nanoparticles as well as their crystallographic properties. Depending on the nature of the support material, Pt-containing catalytic materials obtained by the electrochemical top-down approach showed good functional performance in fuel cell technologies (Pt/C), catalytic oxidation of CO (Pt/Al2O3) and electrochemical oxidation of methanol (Pt/TiO2-C) and ethanol (Pt/SnO2-C).
In this study, PZT powder prepared by the wet direct process was synthesized. As starting materials, $TiCl_4$. $ZrOCl_2{\cdot}8H_2O$ and PbO were used. Uniformly shape and fine-grained PZT powder was obtained by the wet-direct process and PZT powder was characterized by XRD, DTA analysis. The X-ray diffraotion peaks from the PZT powder were observed at 700($^{\circ}C$) or over.
$(Na_{0.5}LaK_{0.5})NbO_3$ (NKN) thin films were fabricated by the alkoxide-based MOD method. NKN stock solutions were made spin-coated onto the Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si substrate. The structural properties of the NKN thin films examined by x-ray diffraction. The perovskite phase was obtained as a function of the annealing temperature from $550^{\circ}C$ to $700^{\circ}C$ for 1h. The crystallinity and grain size of the NKN thin films increased with increasing annealing temperature. The dielectric constants and loss of the NKN thin films annealed at $650^{\circ}C$ ($t_{eq}$=2.35 nm) showed 323 and 0.025.
In this study, residual stress and surface roughness were investigated experimentally to evaluate surface integrity on surface layer machined by CBN, ceramics and WC cutting tools. When machining difficult-to-cut material (hardened STD11 steel $H_{R}$C 60), residual stresses remaining in machined surface layer were mainly compressive. The increase of flank wear caused a shift of the compressive residual stress maximum to greater workpiece depths, but the changes did not penetrate the workpiece beneath a depth of 300 .mu. m. Surface roughness was influenced considerably by variations of the cutting speed and feed. In machining hard material, CBN and A1$_{2}$$O_{3}$ ceramics cutting tool materials proved significantly superior to mixed ceramics A1$_{2}$$O_{3}$-TiC and WC in evaluation of surface integrity.y.
PZT ceramics substituted by La3+ and Nd3+ were fabricated according to the formula: [Pb1-x(La or Nd)x][Zr0.58Ti0.42]1-x/4$\square$x/4O3(x=0.00, 0.02, 0.05, 0.08, 0.15, 0.20). The crystal structure and microstructure were investigated by XRD and SEM. It was observed that the phase transitions among rhombohedral, tetragonal, and cubic symmetry occured as the substitutional quantity increased. Dielectric constant, dissipation factor and piezoelectric coefficient (d33), of each sample were measured. The dielectric properties were changed as the substitutional quanity of rare earth ion increased. These changes could be explained by crystal structure and compositional fluctuaction. Its d33 was higher at tetragonal region near to phase boundry between rhombohedral and tetragonal, which was explained by reorientation of domain wall.
The properties of the electron transport layer (ETL) have a great effect on perovskite solar cell performance. Depositing conformal SnO2 ETL on bottom textured silicon cells is essential to increase current density in terms of the silicon-perovskite tandem solar cells. In the recent study, the SnO2 electron transport layer deposited by the sputtering method showed an efficiency of 19.8%. Also, an electron transport layer with a sputtered TiO2 electron transport layer in a 4-terminal tandem solar cell has been reported. In this study, we synthesized SnOx ETL with a various sputtering power range of 30-60W by Radio-frequency (RF)-magnetron sputtering. The properties of SnOx thin film were characterized using ellipsometer, UV-vis spectrometer, and IV measurement. With a sputtering power of 50W, the solar cell showed the highest efficiency of 13.3%, because of the highest fill factor by the conductivity of SnOx film.
