Electrical Properties of BaTiO3-based 0603/0.1µF/0.3mm Ceramics Decoupling Capacitor for Embedding in the PCB of 10G RF Transceiver Module

  • Multi-layer ceramic capacitors as decoupling capacitor were fabricated by dielectric composition with a high dielectric constant. The fabricated decoupling capacitors were embedded in the PCB of the 10G RF transceiver module and evaluated for the characteristics of electrical noise by the level of AC input voltage. In order to further improve the electrical properties of the $BaTiO_3$ based composite, glass frit, MgO, $Y_2O_3$, $Mn_3O$, $V_2O_5$, $BaCO_3$, $SiO_2$, and $Al_2O_3$ were used as additives. The electrical properties of the composites were determined by various amounts of additives and optimum sintering temperature. As a result of the optimized composite, it was possible to obtain a density of $5.77g/cm^3$, a dielectric constant of 1994, and an insulation resistance of $2.91{\times}10^{12}{\Omega}$ at an additive content of 5wt% and a sintering temperature of $1250^{\circ}C$. After forming a $2.5{\mu}m$ green sheet using the doctor blade method, a total of 77 layers were laminated and sintered at $1180^{\circ}C$. A decoupling capacitor with a size of $0.6mm(W){\times}0.3mm(L){\times}0.3mm(T)$ (width, length and thickness, respectively) and a capacitance of 100 nF was embedded using a PCB process for the 10G RF Transceiver modules. In the range of AC input voltage 400mmV @ 500kHz to 2200mV @ 900kHz, the embedded 10G RF Transceiver modules evaluated that it has better electrical performance than the non-embedded modules.

적출 심근의 칼륨경축에 대한 칼슘이온 효과 (Effect of $Ca^{++}$ on High K-induced Contracture of Isolated Frog Ventricular Muscle)

  • The sufficient myoplasmic $Ca^{++}$ to react with the contractile proteins is necessary to induce contraction of a cardiac muscle. These $Ca^{++}$ for the production of muscle contraction are supplied from the three recognized $Ca^{++}$ sources; internal $Ca^{++}$ release via the sarcoplasmic reticulum(SR), $Ca^{++}$ influx through a gated Ca-channel in the membrane as a Isi, and $Ca^{++}$ transport by the mechanism of Na/ca exchange. However, it is still controversial which $Ca^{++}$ sources act as a main contributor for myoplasmic $Ca^{++}$, Therefore, this study was undertaken in order to examine the $Ca^{++}$ sources for the contraction of frog ventricle. There is evidence that the SR is sparse in frog ventricular fibers, and that T-tubules are absent. Isolated ventricular strips of frog, Rana nigromaculata, were used in this experiment. Isometric tension was recorded by force transducer, and membrane potentials of ventricular muscles were measured through the intracellular glass microelectrodes, which were filled with 3M KCI and had resistance of $30{\pm}50M{\Omega}$. All experiments were performed at room temperature in a tris·buffered Ringer solution which was aerated with 100% $O_2$. Isotonic high K, low Na solution was used to induce K-contracture, K-contracture appeared at the concentration of 20 to 30mM-KCI and was potentiated in parallel with the increase in KCI concentration. The contracture had two components: an initial rapid phasic and a subsequent slow tonic contractile responses. Membrane Potentials measured at normal Ringer solution(2.5mM KCI) was -90 to -100 mV, and decreased linearly as the KCI concentration increased; -55mV at 20mM.KCI, -45mV at 30 mM.KCI, -30 mY at 50 mM.KCI, and -12 mV at 100 mM.KCI. K-contracture was evoked firstly at the membrane potential of -45 mV. The contracture was potentiated by the increase of bathing extracellular $Ca^{++}$ concentration. However, in the absence of $Ca^{++}$ the contracture was almost not induced by 50 mM.KCI solution. Caffeine(20mM) in normal Ringer solution, which is known to release $Ca^{++}$ from SR without substantial effects on the $Ca^{++}$ fluxes across the surface membrane, did not affect membrane potential and also not initiate contracture, but the caffeine in 20 mM-KCI Ringer solution produced a contracture. Above results suggest that the main $Ca^{++}$ source for the K·contracture of frog ventricle is $Ca^{++}$ influx through the voltage-dependent Ca-channel, and that in the K-contracture at the concentration of 100 mM-KCI, the mechanism of Na/ca exchange also partly contributs, in addition to the $Ca^{++}$ influx.

국내외 청년의 라이프스타일과 물질중독의 관련성 (The Relationship between Lifestyle Choices and Substance Addiction in Young Adults)

  • 본 연구는 중독의 재발예방(Relapse Prevention, RP) 모형을 적용하여 국내외 청년의 라이프스타일과 물질 중독 유병의 관계를 조사하였다. 자료는 온라인 설문(Depression and Anxiety Assessment Test)으로 수집된 단면 데이터를 사용하였으며, 미국과 한국 등 24개국에 거주하는 만 18~24세 청년 926명을 대상으로 하였다. 이 중 17.6%가 심각한 물질중독이 있다고 답했으며, 알코올 중독이 11.2%로 가장 많았고, 다음은 니코틴 중독 10.3%, 마약중독 8.7% 순이었다. 카이제곱 검정과 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 모든 라이프스타일 요인(규칙적인 운동, 미량영양소, 트립토판, 엽산 및 오메가-3 지방산이 함유된 음식 섭취량, 성경읽기, 기도와 같은 영적 활동)과 물질중독(마약, 알코올, 니코틴)의 관련성이 통계적으로 유의하였으며, 우울 역시 물질중독과 유의한 상관을 나타냈다. 특히 알코올 중독의 위험은 '성경을 안 읽는다'가 '성경을 읽는다'에 비해 9.870배(95% CI: 4.525-21.525)로 가장 높았고, 니코틴 중독과 마약중독의 위험은 하루 미량영양소 섭취량 '1회 미만'이 '5회 이상'에 비해 각각 9.060배(95% CI: 2.726-30.111), 8.642배(95% CI: 2.022-37.378)로 가장 높았다. 결론적으로, 전인적 라이프스타일 개입은 물질중독 예방과 감소에 도움이 될 수 있다는 것을 시사한다.

탄소원과 질소원의 무게비가 Thraustochytrium aureum ATCC 34304의 성장 및 지방산 조성 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Weight Ratio of Carbon Source to Nitrogen Source on toe Growth and the Composition of Fatty Acid of Thraustochytrium aureum ATCC 34304)

  • 탄소원과 질소원의 무게비가 Thraustochytrium aureum ATCC 34304의 성장 및 지방산 조성에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 초기 당농도에 관계없이 배양 5일 후의 균체농도는 C/N 값이 증가하면 증가하였다가 감소하였다. 각 초기 당 농도에 따라서, 균체농도가 최대가 되는 C/N의 비는 각기 고유한 값을 나타내었다. 초기 당농도 5 g/L 내지 25 g/L 범위내에서 균체농도가 최대가 되는 C/N 값은 1 내지 4 사이에 분포하였다. C/N 비에 따른 균체수율 $Y_{x/s}$의 값은 C/N의 값이 증가하면 감소하였으나 10 내지 20 사이의 범위에서는 0.35 의 일정한 값을 유지하였다. T. aureum ATCC 34304가 생합성하는 포화지방산인 미리스트산의 조성은 C/N 비의 변화에 영향을 받지 않았으나 팔미트산의 조성은 C/N 값 4 이하에서는 $20\%$ 내외의 값을 나타내었고 C/N 값이 증가하면 $15\%$까지 감소하였다. 탄소수사 18개인 $C_{18:}$의 지방산 중 올레인산 $(C_{18:1})$과 리놀레인산 $(C_{18:2})$의 조성은 C/N 값이 증가하면 $0\%$에서 각각 $20\%$$7\%$까지 지속적으로 증가하였다. 반면 $\gamma$-리놀레인산 $(C_{18:3})$의 조성은 C/N 값의 증가에 따라 $5\%$에서 $2\%$까지 감소하였다. 탄소수가 20개 이상인 $\omega-3$ 다중불포화 지방산 중 EPA $(C_{20:5})$와 DPA $(C_{22:5})$의 조성은 C/N 값의 증가에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며, DHA $(C_{22:6})$ 조성은 C/N 값이 증가하더라도 $40\%$ 내외의 간을 유지하였다.

임플랜트 식립부위 형성시 골조직의 온도변화에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE TEMPERATURE CHANGES OF BONE TISSUES DURING IMPLANT SITE PREPARATION)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of thermal injury to bone tissues during an implant site preparation under the same condition as a typical clinical practice of $Br{\aa}nemark$ implant system. All the burs for $Br{\aa}nemark$ implant system were studied except the round bur The experiments involved 880 drilling cases : 50 cases for each of the 5 steps of NP, 5 steps of RP, and 7 steps of WP, all including srew tap, and 30 cases of 2mm twist drill. For precision drilling, a precision handpiece restraining system was developed (Eungyong Machinery Co., Korea). The system kept the drill parallel to the drilling path and allowed horizontal adjustment of the drill with as little as $1{\mu}m$ increment. The thermocouple insertion hole. that is 0.9mm in diameter and 8mm in depth, was prepared 0.2mm away from the tapping bur the last drilling step. The temperatures due to countersink, pilot drill, and other drills were measured at the surface of the bone, at the depths of 4mm and 8mm respectively. Countersink drilling temperature was measured by attaching the tip of a thermocouple at the rim of the countersink. To assure temperature measurement at the desired depths, 'bent-thermocouples' with their tips of 4 and 8mm bent at $120^{\circ}$ were used. The profiles of temperature variation were recorded continuously at one second interval using a thermometer with memory function (Fluke Co. U.S.A.) and 0.7mm thermocouples (Omega Co., U.S.A.). To simulate typical clinical conditions, 35mm square samples of bovine scapular bone were utilized. The samples were approximately 20mm thick with the cortical thickness on the drilling side ranging from 1 to 2mm. A sample was placed in a container of saline solution so that its lower half is submerged into the solution and the upper half exposed to the room air, which averaged $24.9^{\circ}C$. The temperature of the saline solution was maintained at $36.5^{\circ}C$ using an electric heater (J. O Tech Co., Korea). This experimental condition was similar to that of a patient s opened mouth. The study revealed that a 2mm twist drill required greatest attention. As a guide drill, a twist drill is required to bore through a 'virgin bone,' rather than merely enlarging an already drilled hole as is the case with other drills. This typically generates greater amount of heat. Furthermore, one tends to apply a greater pressure to overcome drilling difficulty, thus producing even greater amount heat. 150 experiments were conducted for 2mm twist drill. For 140 cases, drill pressure of 750g was sufficient, and 10 cases required additional 500 or 100g of drilling pressure. In case of the former. 3 of the 140 cases produced the temperature greater than $47^{\circ}C$, the threshold temperature of degeneration of bone tissue (1983. Eriksson et al.) which is also the reference temperature in this study. In each of the 10 cases requiring extra pressure, the temperature exceeded the reference temperature. More significantly, a surge of heat was observed in each of these cases This observations led to addtional 20 drilling experiments on dense bones. For 10 of these cases, the pressure of 1,250g was applied. For the other 10, 1.750g were applied. In each of these cases, it was also observed that the temperature rose abruptly far above the thresh old temperature of $47^{\circ}C$, sometimes even to 70 or $80^{\circ}C$. It was also observed that the increased drilling pressure influenced the shortening of drilling time more than the rise of drilling temperature. This suggests the desirability of clinically reconsidering application of extra pressures to prevent possible injury to bone tissues. An analysis of these two extra pressure groups of 1,250g and 1,750g revealed that the t-statistics for reduced amount of drilling time due to extra pressure and increased peak temperature due to the same were 10.80 and 2.08 respectively suggesting that drilling time was more influenced than temperature. All the subsequent drillings after the drilling with a 2mm twist drill did not produce excessive heat, i.e. the heat generation is at the same or below the body temperature level. Some of screw tap, pilot, and countersink showed negative correlation coefficients between the generated heat and the drilling time. indicating the more the drilling time, the lower the temperature. The study also revealed that the drilling time was increased as a function of frequency of the use of the drill. Under the drilling pressure of 750g, it was revealed that the drilling time for an old twist drill that has already drilled 40 times was 4.5 times longer than a new drill The measurement was taken for the first 10 drillings of a new drill and 10 drillings of an old drill that has already been used for 40 drillings. 'Test Statistics' of small samples t-test was 3.49, confirming that the used twist drills require longer drilling time than new ones. On the other hand, it was revealed that there was no significant difference in drilling temperature between the new drill and the old twist drill. Finally, the following conclusions were reached from this study : 1 Used drilling bur causes almost no change in drilling temperature but increase in drilling time through 50 drillings under the manufacturer-recommended cooling conditions and the drilling pressure of 750g. 2. The heat that is generated through drilling mattered only in the case of 2mm twist drills, the first drill to be used in bone drilling process for all the other drills there is no significant problem. 3. If the drilling pressure is increased when a 2mm twist drill reaches a dense bone, the temperature rises abruptly even under the manufacturer-recommended cooling conditions. 4. Drilling heat was the highest at the final moment of the drilling process.

서낙동강 강수의 화학적${\cdot}$세균학적 수질 (Chemical and Bacteriological Water Qualify of the Sonakdong River)

  • 서낙동강의 강수는 김해평야에 농업 용수의 공급원으로서 뿐만아니라 수산 용수로서도 중요한 수계이다. 김해시민들에 의하여 배출되는 생활 오수, 김해평야에 살포되는 농약 등의 유입과 양대 수문에 의한 강수의 완만한 유동으로 서낙동강의 수역을 급속도로 오탁시킬 우려성을 갖고 있는 실정이다. 이들 수질 관리에 대한 기초자료를 얻고자 1985년 7월부터 12월까지 7회에 걸쳐 8회 지점에서 총 시료 56개로서 강수 수질의 일반성상, 영양염류와 오염지표세균에 대한 조사 결과를 보고하는 바이다. 1. pH의 변화범위와 평균치는 $6.3{\sim}9.4$, 7.91이었으며, 중${\cdot}$하부 수역에서 높은 수치를 나타내었다. 수온은 $6.1{\sim}34.8^{\circ}C,\;23.88^{\circ}C$였고, 전기전도도(지점 $A{\sim}G$)는 $1.575{\times}10^2{\sim}30.50{\times}10^2{\mu}{\mho}/cm$로서 하구로 향할수록 증가하였으며 지점 F에서는 조만 강수의 영향으로 희석되어 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 또, 강우가 빈번하였던 8,9월은 갈수기 보다 월등히 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 염화이온 농도의 변화범위와 평균치는 $23.5{\sim}14,300mg/l$, 770.0mg/l로서 지점별로 큰 폭으로 변하였다. 이 농도의 변화범위 및 평균치는 수문이 없는 낙동강의 경우 귀포 지점에서 보다는 높은 값이었다. 2. 영양염류중의 아질산성 질소의 변화범위는 평균치는 $0.007{\sim}0.110mg/l$, 0.053mg/l, 질산성 질소는 $0.001{\sim}1.638mg/l$, 0.649mg/l, 암모니아성 질소는 $0.017{\sim}4.200mg/l$, 0.497mg/l, 인산성 인은 $0.011{\sim}0.281mg/l$, 0.086mg/l, 규산성 규소는 $2.4{\sim}6.5mg/l$, 4.43mg/l로 각각 나타났다. 3. 대장균군 최확수는 $36{\sim}110,000/100ml$, 분편계대장균은 $15{\sim}46,000/100ml$, 그리고 장구균은 $3.6{\sim}15,000/100ml$이었으며, 특히 지점 B와 C오염이 극심하였다. T.C/F.C값의 범위와 평균치는 $3.0{\sim}9.6,5.51$이었으며, 분편계대장균의 오염률이 $21.26\%$이었다. 또, F.C/F.S 값의 범위와 평균치는 $1.1{\sim}9.2$, 6.19이었으며, 4.0이상인 지점이 $75\%$로서 미처이된 분편에 의하여 오염되어 있음을 시사하여 준다. 대장균군의 조성은 E.coli군이 $52\%$로 제일 많이 분류되었고, Enterobacter aerogenes군이 $13\%$, Citrobacter freundii군 순이었다.
