Let R be an integral domain with identity. In this paper we will show that if R is integrally closed or if t-dim $R{\leq}1$, then R[{$X_{\alpha}$}] satisfies the principal ideal theorem for each family {$X_{\alpha}$} of algebraically independent indeterminates if and only if R is an S-domain and it satisfies the principal ideal theorem.

1995년 1월부터 12월까지 한국 남서해역 (제주도 부근)에서 매월 어획된 황아귀를 대상으로 연령과 성장을 조사하였다. 연령사정은 척추골을 이용하였다. 황아귀 척추골의 추체에 윤문이 형성되는 시기는 3$\~$4월경으로 산란시기와 거의 일치하였다. 암컷의 연령은 8세까지, 그리고 수컷은 5세까지 나타났다. 추체경 (R)과 전장 (L) 사이에는 암컷의 경우 L=12.7+4.8R, 그리고 수컷의 경우 L=9.8+5.6R의 관계식을 보였다 전장과 체중 (W) 사이에는 암컷의 경우 $W=0.0089L^{3.0311}$, 그리고 수컷의 경우 $W=0.0329L^{2.7752}$의 관계식을 보였다 황아귀의 성장식은 암컷의 경우 $L_t=127.60(1-e^{-0.1228(t+0.3851)})$ 이었으며, 수컷은 $L_t=82.23(1-e^{-0.1832(t+0.6431)})$ 이었다.

Effect of fasting and refeeding on growth and blood chemistry of juvenile olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus L. was investigated when fish achieved compensatory growth. Fish were fed the experimental diet for 6 days a week. Five treatments in triplicate were prepared: C, S1, S2, S3 and S4. Fish in the control group (C) were hand-fed to apparent satiation twice a day. Fish in treatments of S1, S2, S3 and S4 experienced 1, 2, 3 and 4 weeks of starvation and were then hand-fed to satiation twice daily during the remaining 7, 6, 5 and 4 weeks of the experiment, respectively. Weight gain of fish in C, S1 and S2 were higher than those of fish in S3 and S4. A significant difference in plasma total protein, glucose, triglyceride, $T_3$ and $T_4$ was observed in between starved and refed fish for the rest periods of the feeding trial. Plasma total protein and $T_3$ of flounder decreased with week of fasting and following correlationships were obtained; Y (Total protein) = -0.13X (week of fasting) + 1.54, $R^2=0.9792$ and $Y(T_3)=-11.48X$ (week of fasting) + 79.57, $R^2=0.8822$, respectively.

Seven bacterial strains, 15J4M-1, 15J13-8, 16MFM10, 15J1-8, SR1-5-4, 15J13-6, and 15J8-11 assigned to the phylum Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, and Firmicutes were isolated from soil samples collected from Jeju, Korea. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequence revealed that strains 15J4M-1, 15J13-8, 16MFM10, 15J1-8, SR1-5-4, 15J13-6, and 15J8-11 were most closely related to Bacillus selenatarsenatis $SF-1^T$ (with 99.4% similarity), Brevibacterium luteolum $CF87^T$ (99.5%), Carnobacterium iners CCUG $62000^T$ (99.6%), Exiguobacterium profundum $10C^T$ (99.3%), Larkinella insperata LMG $22510^T$ (99.3%), Pseudokineococcus lusitanus CECT $7306^T$ (99.4%), and Spirosoma endophyticum $EX36^T$ (99.3%), respectively. This is the first report of these seven species in Korea.

Using the Lukasiewicz 3-valued implication operator, the notion of an (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal of a hemiring is introduced, where ${\alpha},{\beta}{\in}\{{\in},q,{\in}{\wedge}q,{\in}{\vee}q\}$. We define intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal with thresholds ($s,t$) of a hemiring R and investigate their various properties. We characterize intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal with thresholds ($s,t$) and (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal of a hemiring R by its level sets. We establish that an intuitionistic fuzzy set A of a hemiring R is a (${\in},{\in}$) (or (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$) or (${\in}{\wedge}q,{\in}$)-intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal of R if and only if A is an intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal with thresholds (0, 1) (or (0, 0.5) or (0.5, 1)) of R respectively. It is also shown that A is a (${\in},{\in}$) (or (${\in},{\in}{\vee}q$) or (${\in}{\wedge}q,{\in}$))-intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal if and only if for any $p{\in}$ (0, 1] (or $p{\in}$ (0, 0.5] or $p{\in}$ (0.5, 1] ), $A_p$ is a fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal. Finally, we prove that an intuitionistic fuzzy set A of a hemiring R is an intuitionistic fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal with thresholds ($s,t$) of R if and only if for any $p{\in}(s,t]$, the cut set $A_p$ is a fuzzy left (right) $h$-ideal of R.

In this paper, the concepts of ω-linked homomorphisms, the ω_𝜙-operation, and DW_𝜙 rings are introduced. Also the relationships between ω_𝜙-ideals and ω-ideals over a ω-linked homomorphism 𝜙 : R → T are discussed. More precisely, it is shown that every ω_𝜙-ideal of T is a ω-ideal of T. Besides, it is shown that if T is not a DW_𝜙 ring, then T must have an infinite number of maximal ω_𝜙-ideals. Finally we give an application of Cohen's Theorem over ω-factor rings, namely it is shown that an integral domain R is an SM-domain with ω-dim(R) ≤ 1, if and only if for any nonzero ω-ideal I of R, (R/I)_ω is an Artinian ring, if and only if for any nonzero element α ∈ R, (R/(a))_ω is an Artinian ring, if and only if for any nonzero element α ∈ R, R satisfies the descending chain condition on ω-ideals of R containing a.

본 연구는 위장관염을 일으키는 Vibrio fluvialis의 16S-23S rRNA intergenic spacer region을 분석하였다. ISR을 PCR 증폭 후 plasmid vector에 클로닝하여 염기서열을 분석하였다. 그 결과, ISR의 염기서열은 tRNA gene 조성과 크기에 따라 총 6개의 type으로 분류되었다. 각 type은 tRNA gene 조성과 수에 따라 ISR-A, ISR-E, ISR-El, ISR-lA, ISR-EKV, ISR-EKAV로 명명하였으며, ISR-A는 tRN $A^{Ala}$; ISR-lA, tRN $A^{Ile}$-tRN $A^{Ala}$; ISR-EKV, tRN $A^{Glu}$-tRN $A^{Lys}$-tRN $A^{Val}$; ISR-EKAV, tRN $A^{Glu}$-tRN $A^{Lys}$-tRN $A^{Ala}$-tRN $A^{Val}$; ISR-E와 El은 tRN $A^{Glu}$를 갖고 있었다. 이 중 ISR-EKV type은 minor type으로 존재하고 있으며, 여러 Vibrio종의 ISR-EKV type과 비교시 변이성이 높은 부위를 확인하였다. 따라서, 이 ISR-EKV의 염기서열을 여러 Vibrio종에서 V. fluuialis를 검출하기 위한 species-specific primer 제작에 이용하였다. 제작된 primer의 특이성은 여러 Vibrio 의 genomic DNA를 분리하여 PCR 반응으로 확인하였다. 그 결과, 제작된 primer는 V. fluvialis에 종 특이성이 있으며 여러 Vibrio종으로부터 빠른 검출이 가능함을 확인하였다.로부터 빠른 검출이 가능함을 확인하였다.

Obesity increases the risk of many adult diseases, such as atherosclerosis, diabetes, hypertension, ischemic heart disease and breast cancer. Inhibition of adipogenesis is an effective way in the anti-obesity management. Because of main components of Saururus chinensis is flavonoid, it has been showed some improvement by its antioxidant effects on the atherosclerosis, heart disease and diabetic hyperlipidemia. But mechanism of anti-obesity effect of S. chinensis is not clear. We investigated the effects of ethanol extracts of S. chinensis on adipogenesis in the 3T3-L1 pre-adipocyte. The 3T3-L1 cell line is commonly used to study adipogenesis in vitro. In this study, ethanol extracts of S. chinensis significantly decrease the lipid accumulation in the 3T3-L1 cells proved by measuring triglyceride contents and Oil red O staining. The proposed mechanism of inhibition of adipogenesis in the 3T3-L1 cells with ethanol extracts of S. chinensis is down-regulation of transcriptional factors and adipocyte-specific genes such CCAAT/enhancer binding protein ${\alpha}$ ($C/EBP{\alpha}$) and Peroxisome proliferator activated receptor ${\gamma}$ ($PPAR{\gamma}$) in concentration dependent pattern. These results suggest that ethanol extracts of S. chinensis inhibits adipognesis in the 3T3-L1 cells and can be used as a safe and efficient natural substance to manage anti-obesity.

A portion (7.4 kb) of ribosomal DNA tandem repeat unit from a genome of the mushroom T. matsutake has been cloned. A 1.75 kb EcoRI fragment was cloned first using S. cerevisiae 255 rRNA gene as a probe, and this was then used for further cloning. A chromosomal walking experiment was carried out and the upstream region of the 1.75 kb fragment was cloned using SmaI/BamHI enzyme, the size was estimated to be 5.2 kb in length. Part of the downstream region of the 1.75 kb fragment was also cloned using XbaI/BamHI enzymes. Restriction enzyme maps of three cloned DNA fragments were constructed. Northern hybridization, using total RNA of T. matsutake, and the restriction fragments of three cloned DNAs as probes, revealed that all four ribosomal RNA genes (large subunit[LSU], small subunit [SSU], 5.85 and 5S rRNA genes) are present in the cloned region. The gene organization of the rDNA are regarded as an intergenic spacer [IGS]2 (partial) - SSU rRNA - internal transcribed spacer [ITS]1 - 5.8S rRNA - ITS2 - LSU rRNA - IGS1 -5S rRNA - IG52 (partial).

부산의 가물치 양식장으로부터 분리된 A. veronii bv. sobria 와 A. caviae를 대상으 로 16S-23S rRNA Intergenic Spacer Region을 cloning 하여 염기서dufd을 분석하였다. A. veronii bv. sobria 는 4그룹의 band pattern이 형성되었고 A. caviae는 1그룹만이 존재하였 다. A. veronii bv. sobria 의 4그룹에 대한 band 수는 2~4개까지 다양하게 나타났으며. 479~481 bp (ISR-1), 513~524 bp (ISR-2), 537~539 bp (ISR-3) 의 염기서열을 밝혀냈다. A. caviae는 3개의 band가 형성되었고,470~480bp (ISR-1), 521~525bp (ISR-2),568~602 bp (ISR-4)의 염기서열을 가지고 있었다. 그리고 이들에 대한 tRNA를 분석한 결과 ISR-1은 tRNAIle(GAT), tRNAAla(TGC)를 가지고 있고 ISR-2,3,4는 tRNAGlu(TTC)를 가지고 있었 다. A. caviae는 ISR-4의 151~281 bp에서 A. veronii bv. sobria 가 가지고 있지 않은 보존 적인 염기서열을 가지고 있었다. 그 중 A. vaviae의 178~197 bp 염기서열을 primer로 design하여 PCR을 실시한 결과 A. caviae 균주에서만 종특이적으로 생성되는 450 bp 정도 의 밴들르 얻을수 있었다.
