  • Let Mf(x) be the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Let $\Phi$ and $\Psi$ be functions satisfying $\Phi$(t) = ${\int^t}_0$a(s)ds and $\Psi(t)$ = ${\int^t}_0$b(s)ds, where a(s) and b(s) are positive continuous such that ${\int^\infty}_0\frac{a(s)}{s}ds$ = $\infty$ and b(s) is quasi-increasing. We show that if there exists a constant $c_1$ so that ${\int^s}_0\frac{a(t)}{t}dt\;c_1b(c_1s)$ for all $s\geq0$, then there exists a constant $c_1$ such that(0.1) $\int_{\mathbb{R^{n}}$ $\Phi(Mf(x))dx\;\leq\;c_2$ $\int_\mathbb{R^{n}}$$\Psi(c_2\midf(x)\mid)dx$ for all $f\epsilonL^1(R^n_$. Conversely, if there exists a constant $c_2$ satisfying the condition (0.1), then there exists a constant $c_1$ so that ${\int^s}_\delta\frac{a(t)}{t}dt=;\leq\;c_1b(c_1s$ for all $\delta$ > 0 and $s\geq\delta$.

발생 중 마우스 망막에서 방향특이성 신경절세포의 NMDA R1 수용체의 시냅스 패턴 (Synaptic Pattern of NMDA R1 upon the Direction-Selective Retinal Ganglion Cells in Developing Mouse Retina)

  • 목적: 본 연구에서는 발생 중[태어난 지 5일(P5), 10일(P10)] 마우스 망막의 ON-OFF 방향특이성 신경절세포 수상돌기 상에서 NMDA R1 수용체의 시냅스 패턴을 연구하고자 하였다. 방법: ON-OFF 방향특이성 신경절세포는 Lucifer yellow를 주사하여 형태학적 특징으로 동정하였다. 이극세포로부터의 글루타메이트의 흥분성 유입을 확인하기 위해 membrane traffic motor 단백질 마커인 kinesin을 이용하였다. 결과: 본 연구에서 P5, P10의 ON-OFF 방향특이성 신경절세포를 동정할 수 있었으며, NMDA R1의 면역반응반점은 내망상층에서 강하게 나타났다. ON-OFF 방향특이성 신경절세포의 수상돌기상의 수용체의 분포패턴에서 방향특이성을 예측할 수 있는 어떠한 비대칭성도 발견하지 못하였다. 결론: 이극세포로부터의 글루타메이트성 자극유입은 P5, P10 단계에서 모두 균형적으로 유입되며, 방향특이성은 NMDA R1 수용체의 특이적인 패턴에 있지 않음을 밝혔다.

Molecular Analysis of Geminigirus ORFs on Symptom Development

  • Mutants of the monopartite geminivirus beet curly top virus (BCTV) have been screened for infectivity, systemic movement, replication and symptom development in Arabidopsis thaliana. As known by coding for coat protein, R1 mutant was not infectious and did not move systemically. R2, R3 and L2/L3 mutants produced milder symptoms compared to wild type BCTV but the infectivity was reduced by 40% to 60%. R2 ORF is thought to be involved in the regulation of ssDNA and dsDNA accumulation because only dsDNA was accumulated on R2-infected organs. Disruption of ORF L4 resulted in reduced infections, but the viral DNA was accumulated in infected organs from roots to shoot tips as much as wild type BCTV on Sei-O. In addition, 4 mutants did not produce callus-like tissues on infected organs, suggesting that L4 ORF may play a role in the induction of host cell divisions by virus infection. This result was supported by the patterns of mRNA expression and promoter analysis of the cell cycle marker gene, cycl, on Arabidopsis. cycl mRNA was accumulated on symptomatic organs by wild type BCTV infections but not by L4 mutant. We conclude that the BCTV L4 ORF is essential for symptom developments, specially callus-like formation on infected organs.

Dispersion Behavior and Size Analysis of Thermally Purified High Pressure-high Temperature Synthesized Nanodiamond Particles

  • Synthesized monocrystalline nanodiamond (nD) particles are heat-treated at various temperatures to produce highly structured diamond crystals. The heat-treated nDs show different weight loss ratios during thermogravimetric analysis. The crystallinities of the heat-treated nDs are analyzed using Raman spectroscopy. The average particle sizes of the heat-treated nDs are measured by a dynamic light scattering (DLS) system and direct imaging observation methods. Moreover, individual dispersion behaviors of the heat-treated nD particles are investigated based on ultrasonic dispersion methods. The average particle sizes of the dispersed nDs according to the two different measurement methods show very similar size distributions. Thus, it is possible to produce highly crystallized nD powder particles by a heat-treatment process, and the nD particles are relatively easy to disperse individually without any dispersant. The heat-treated nDs can lead to potential applications such as in nanocomposites, quantum dots, and biomedical materials.

  • An adaptive code rate change scheme in DS-SSMA systems is proposed. In the proposed scheme, the error correcting code rate is changed according to the channel state, the effective number of users. The channel state is estimated based on retransmission requests. The criterion for the change of the code rate is to maximize the throughput under given error bound.

D 유형 성격 측정 도구의 타당도와 신뢰도 검증 (Verification for the Validity and Reliability of the Type D Scale-14)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the validity and reliability of the Type D Scale-14 (DS14). Methods: The participants were 288 patients who were diagnosed with angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, and hypertension. DS14 was developed by Denollet(2005) and consists of two domains, 7 items on negative affectivity (NA) and 7 items on social inhibition (SI). The Korean version of DS14 was developed through translation-reversed translation and a preliminary test. Data were collected using a self-report questionnaire. Cronbach $\alpha$ and Guttman split-half were used to test reliability and item analysis and factor analysis for validity. The SPSS program was used. Results: 35.8% of the participants were classified as Type D. Mean score for NA was 16.80 and for SI, 14.10 in Type D participants. For reliability of NA, Cronbach $\alpha$=0.771, and for SI, 0.707. Factor analysis on 12 items(numbers 1 & 3 were excluded as the corrected item-total correlations were below r=0.3) yielded two factors for NA (6 items) and SI (6 items). Number 7 in the NA domain was sorted into the SI domain. Conclusion: The results indicate, the cultural differences were between Europeans and Koreans. Repetition of the research is needed for generalization of DS14.

전력용 반도체 소자의 과열보호시스템 설계 및 구현 (Development and Implementation of an Over-Temperature Protection System for Power Semiconductor Devices)

  • 본 논문에서는 전력용 반도체 소자를 위한 과열보호시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관한 내용을 다룬다. 제안된 시스템은 전력용 반도체 소자의 온도를 검출하기 위해서 별도의 온도센서나 트랜지스터를 사용하는 기존의 방법과 달리 파워 MOSFET의 $R_{ds(on)}$ 특성만을 이용한다. 과열보호를 위한 제안된 방법은 IRF840 파워 MOSFET를 이용하여 성공적으로 시험되었다. 제안된 과열보호 알고리즘을 구현하기 위해 PIC 마이크로컨트롤러인 PIC16F877A 소자를 사용하였다. 내장된 10-bit A/D 변환기는 IRF840의 소스와 드레인 전압변화를 검출하기 위해 이용된다. 측정된 소스-드레인 간 전압으로부터 도출된 온도-저항 간의 관계식은 파워 MOSFET의 게이트 트리거 신호를 제어한다. 만약 검출된 온도 전압의 임계값이 설정된 임의의 보호온도 전압 값을 초과할 때 마이크로컨트롤러는 파워 MOSFET으로부터 트리거 신호를 제거시켜 파워 MOSFET이 과열되는 것을 방지한다. 실험결과는 제안된 시스템이 정확도 측면에서 1.5%의 오차 이내로 정확함을 보여주었다.

유기농 풋옥수수와 수수의 답전윤환밭과 연속밭에서 나방류 해충들의 발생 및 수량 특성 (Occurrence and Yield Characteristics of Lepidopteran Insect Pests in Green Maizes and Sorghum Crops between Paddy-upland Rotation and Continuing Upland Fields)

  • 유기농 답전윤환밭 및 연속밭의 옥수수 8품종(얼룩찰1호, 흑점2호, 일미찰, 흑진주찰, 찰옥4호, 미백2호, 대학찰)과 수수 7품종(황금찰, 앉은뱅이수수, 목탁수수, 소담찰, DS202, 남풍찰, 동안메)에서 나방류 발생 및 수량 특성을 조사하였다. 조명나방 성충은 년 3회 최성기를 보였고 담배나방류 성충들은 3-4회 최성기를 보였다. 또한 조명나방 유충에 의한 옥수수 및 수수의 잎과 줄기 피해율은 시간이 지날수록 증가하는 경향을 보였는데, 수수의 조명나방 유충에 의한 피해율은 8월 중순에 급격히 증가하였다. 미흑찰, 얼룩찰1호, 일미찰, 흑점2호, 미백2호 등 옥수수 품종들에 대한 조명나방 유충에 의한 피해율은 윤환밭과 연속밭 간 통계적으로 유의한 차이(P=0.05)를 보였고, DS202 품종(83%와 89%)을 제외한 나머지 6종 수수 품종들의 조명나방 유충에 의한 피해율은 연속밭에서 높거나 비슷하였다(50-92%). 옥수수의 나방 유충에 의한 이삭 피해율은 5%(찰옥4호)에서 38%(흑진주찰)였는데, 대학찰 품종은 답전윤환밭(33%)에서 연속밭(14%)에 비해 상대적으로 더 높은 피해를 입었다. 답전윤환 수수 포장에서 소담찰(94%)과 DS202(82%)가 높은 피해율을 보였고, 연속밭에서는 7개 수수 품종 모두 78% 이상의 피해율을 보였다. 흥미롭게도 답전윤환밭 및 연속밭의 옥수수와 수수 품종들에 대한 조명나방 유충에 의한 평균 피해율과 평균 침입공수 간에는 각 정의 상관관계(옥수수 r=0.69윤환밭, 0.95연속밭; 수수 r=0.93윤환밭, 0.97연속밭)를 보였다. 또한 수확 후, 유기농 윤환밭 및 연속밭 포장에서 나방 유충에 의한 옥수수 8품종들과 수수 7품종들의 평균 피해율과 이삭무게 또는 천립중(g) 간에 부의 상관관계(옥수수 r=-0.38윤환밭, -0.49연속밭; 수수 r=-0.70윤환밭, -0.57연속밭)를 나타냈다. 이상의 결과는 유기농 옥수수 및 수수 재배포장에서 나방류의 관리가 수량 확보에 매우 중요하다는 사실을 의미한다.

방전가공면을 복제한 실리콘수지 표면의 발수특성연구 (Hydrophobic Characteristics of a Silicone Resin Surface Produced by Replicating an Electric Discharge Machined Surface)

  • In this study, a micro/nano-random-pattern-structure surface was machined by electric discharge machining (EDM) followed by replicating the EDM surface with a silicone elastomer having low energy and greater hydrophobicity. The variation of hydrophobicity was of prime interest and was examined as a function of the surface roughness of the replicated silicone elastomer. The hydrophobicity was evaluated by the water contact angle (WCA) measured on the relevant surface. For the experiments, the original surfaces were machined by die sinking electric discharge machining (DS-EDM) and wire cutting electric discharge machining (WC-EDM). The ranges of surface roughness were Ra $0.8{\sim}19{\mu}m$ for the DS-EDM and Ra $0.5{\sim}4.7{\mu}m$ for the WC-EDM. In order to fabricate a hydrophobic surface, the EDM surfaces were directly replicated using a liquid-state silicone elastomer, which was thermally cured. The measured WCA on the replicated surfaces for DS-EDM was in the range of $115{\sim}130^{\circ}$ and for WC-EDM the WCA was in the range of $123{\sim}150^{\circ}$. Additionally, the dynamic hydrophobicity was evaluated by measuring an advancing and a receding WCA on the replicated silicone elastomer surfaces.

철도차량용 고무바닥재의 연기발생에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Smoke Generation of Rubber Floor for Railway Vehicle)

  • In this study, we have performed the Cone Calorimeter test and Smoke density test in accordance with ISO 5660-1 and ASTM E662 respectively to check the smoke production characteristics of rubber flooring materials for railway vehicle. Early in the ASTM E662 test, more smoke was produced in the flame mode test than non-flame mode test, but later more smoke was produced in non-flame mode test. The correlation($R^2$) between TSR(Total Smoke Release) by ISO 5660-1 and Ds(Specific Optical Density) by ASTM E662 Flame mode was 0.782. The $R^2$ between TSR by ISO 5660-1 and Ds by ASTM E662 Non-flame was 0.930.
