The energy transfer is observed in double-activator-doped LaOCl:Pr, Tb and LaOCl:Pr, Eu system. From laser excitation and fluorescence spectra, a peculiar process for energy transfer between the activators is found. The energy absorbed by $Tb^{3+}$ is directly transferred to $Pr^{3+}$ ion. A cascade relaxation of an excited $Pr^{3+}$ level to lower level, $^1D_2$ is induced by $Eu^{3+}$, $Tb^{3+}$, which has $^7F_J$ ground levels like $Eu^{3+}$ ion, does not affect the cascade relaxation. The result represents that the quantum state of ion is not absolute condition for the energy transfer and that the energy transfer is competitive between levels of activator when the activator ions are closely located.
Analysis model focuses only on functional requirements and postpones nonfunctional requirements and implementation specific issues until subsequent design activities are undertaken. Based on the analysis models, the design activities are performed by refining and clarifying the analysis models. Thus, the quality of analysis models has a vast impact on the design models. Therefore, much effort should be taken to build correct analysis model. In this paper, we propose a set of structural constraints that analysis models of typical object-oriented development methods should satisfy. Three kinds of constraints are proposed: class related constraints, relation related constraints, and usage related constraints. For each constraint, formal definition and description with OCL are provided. In addition, through a case study with two medium-sired industrial systems, we demonstrated that the proposed approach can help to identify and correct serious deficiencies in object-oriented analysis models.
Objectives: Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is an excellent bactericidal agent, but it is detrimental to stem cell survival, whereas intracanal medicaments such as calcium hydroxide ($Ca[OH]_2$) promote the survival and proliferation of stem cells. This study evaluated the effect of sequential NaOCl and $Ca(OH)_2$ application on the attachment and differentiation of dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs). Materials and Methods: DPSCs were obtained from human third molars. All dentin specimens were treated with 5.25% NaOCl for 30 min. DPSCs were seeded on the dentin specimens and processed with additional 1 mg/mL $Ca(OH)_2$, 17% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) treatment, file instrumentation, or a combination of these methods. After 7 day of culture, we examined DPSC morphology using scanning electron microscopy and determined the cell survival rate with 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay. We measured cell adhesion gene expression levels after 4 day of culture and odontogenic differentiation gene expression levels after 4 wk using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results: DPSCs did not attach to the dentin in the NaOCl-treated group. The gene expression levels of fibronectin-1 and secreted phosphoprotein-1 gene in both the $Ca(OH)_2$- and the EDTA-treated groups were significantly higher than those in the other groups. All $Ca(OH)_2$-treated groups showed higher expression levels of dentin matrix protein-1 than that of the control. The dentin sialophosphoprotein level was significantly higher in the groups treated with both $Ca(OH)_2$ and EDTA. Conclusions: The application of $Ca(OH)_2$ and additional treatment such as EDTA or instrumentation promoted the attachment and differentiation of DPSCs after NaOCl treatment.
In this study, we present a noble study far membrane transport models using chlorine resistance of polyamide RO membranes. Membrane transport mechanism is investigated by the comparison of membrane permeation performance under the continuous and Intermittent operation modes with mixed feed solution containing NaOCl and NaCl. Analysis of permeation performance indicates that solution-diffusion model and preferential adsorption-capillary flow model are relatively efficient according to operation mode. Under the continuous flow state, mass transfer depends on preferential adsorption-capillary flow model rather than solution-diffusion model. On the other hand, it prefers solution-diffusion model to preferential adsorption-capillary flow model under the stationary state. SEM images of NaOCl treated membrane surfaces strongly support these conclusions. These surface images reveal that NaOCl treated membrane in continuous operation mode exhibits ridge and valley structure in some fraction of the surface area, whereas that in intermittent operation mode shows surface degradation entirely.
The propose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the variuos antiseptic solutions and distilled water on physical properties of endodontic gutta-percha cone. The antiseptic solutions were 70% isoprophyl alcohol, 5% NaOCl and 2.5% NaOCl, as control gutta-percha cones, did not stored antiseptic solution was used. Observation periods were 1, 5, 10, 20, and 30 days. In each group,. the 15 gutta-percha cones used. A tensile strength and elongation rate measurements were performed with Instron (Instron 4501), cross - head speed was set 10 inch / min. The data were statistically analyzed and the results were as followed. 1. The tensile strength of the gutta-percha cones, stored in distilled water, were slightly decreased (p<0.05). Elongation rate was not significantly different 2. The tensile strength of the gutta-percha cones, stored in 70% isopropyl alcohol, were increased (p<0.01) except 1 day group. 3. The tensile strength of the gutta-percha cone, stored in 2.5% NaOCl, were decreased (p<.0.05). Elongation rate significantly decreased (p<0.01). 4. The tensile strength of the gutta-percha cone, stored in 5% NaOCl, were decreased (p<0.05). Elongation rate significantly decreased (p<0.01). These results showed that the changes of physical properties (tensile strength and elongation rate) in gutta-percha cone were developed after a day' when gutta-percha cone were stored at 70% isopropyl alcohol, 2.5% or 5% NaOCl. So, It was concluded that gutta-percha cone must have been used at least within one day, when they were stored at the above antiseptics. I thought that the study of substantial effects on endodontic treatment due to changes of physical properties in gutta-percha cone will be needed.
The effect of bench drying or removal of the periodontal ligament with NaOCl upon periodontal healing and root resorption after replantation of molars was studied in rats. A total of 40 Sprague-Dawley female rats were used and fed a powdered purina rat chow diet containing 0.4% beta-aminoproprionitrile. The maxillary first molars were extracted and the periodontal ligaments were removed either by bench drying for 15 minutes or by immersion in 2.5% NaOCl solution. The rats were sacrificed at 5, 10, and 21 days by heart infusion. In order to observe the effect of 0.5% stannous fluoride, $10^{-4}M$, $10^{-2}M$, and 1M etidronate disodium on the early stage of periodontal healing, the periodontal ligament was removed with 2.5% NaOCl followed by immersion of the molar in the respective solutions for 5 minutes. The rats were sacrificed after 10 days and the following results were obtained. 1. The removal of the periodontal ligament with 2.5% NaOCl seemed to be more effective than bench drying, since the resorption area in the NaOCl treated group showed a gradual increase whereas a decline in resorption area from 5 days to 21 days was observed in the bench dried group. 2. The application of 0.5% stannous fluoride seemed to enhance the periodontal ligament attachment and active migration of fibroblasts could be observed. 3. The application of $10^{-4}M$, $10^{-2}M$, and 1M etidronate disodium led to a good periodontal ligament attachment. No evident areas of root resorption were found. 4. The use of ${\beta}$-APN made it possible to extract the maxillary first molar with all five roots intact.
The study is aimed to obtain the basic data for developing new variations of wild spring orchid. The results was investigated the capsules' formational characteristics and the germination ratio after having been self-pollinated by dividing the flowering period into the 5 stages into budding time, semi-flowering, full-flowering, 10 days after flowering, and 20 days after flowering. The fruit setting ratio was the highest as 100% in the plant which had been pollinated 20 days after the flowering, while the weight of the capsule was heaviest in the orchid which had been pollinated in semi-flowering period. As the result of investigating the germination ratio by dividing the period into 5 stages, it was the highest in the plant which had been pollinated during the semi-flowering period, and in the result of investigating the germination ratio by dividing the seeds harvesting days into the 3 stages, such as, 150 days, 165 days and 180 days after the pollination, it was highest as 5% in the orchid whose seeds had been harvested 150 days after the pollination. In the result of examining the germination ratio of the seeds treated with NaOCl, the those treated with 2% of NaOCl showed the highest as 67% in the germination ratio.

As the type and size of vital signs become extensive at the moment lately, a research is actively progressing to define vital signs as big data and analyze it. We generally use a similar method of processing big data on social network as a way to treat vital signs as big data. Vital Sign Big Data should be extracted as feature data, stored separately, and analyzed with various analytical instruments. In other words, it should ensure interoperability and compatability of data, and the index expression in analytical tools should be concise. For this end, I defined the vital sign as the standard meta-model base of HL7 in this dissertation, and I propose a model for analyzing vital signs using OCL, the OMG's standard mathematical specification language. In addition, the proposed model can be confirmed the applicability by figuring out the consumption of calories using ECG data.

We investigated the changes in microbial and physicochemical characteristics of the raw materials of Saengsk (brown rice, barley, carrot, potato, Angelica utilis Makino and kale) during storage after treatment with slightly acidic electrolyzed water (SAEW). To confirm the antimicrobial effects of the treatment washing solutions as well as the physicochemical changes in chromaticity, we stored the raw materials of Saengsik for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 days at storage temperatures of 4, 10, 15, 20, 25 and $30^{\circ}C$ in a shelf-life study. The effects of microbial inhibition were higher in carrot treated with SAEW than in that treated with NaOCl, as indicated by a 1.75 log CFU/g reduction. Moreover, a 1.54 log CFU/g reduction of total coliforms was achieved in brown rice in response to SAEW treatment, which was higher than NaOCl treatment at all storage temperatures and periods. The lightness, redness and yellowness values of the raw materials of Saengsik were not significantly affected by SAEW treatments, except for Angelica utilis Makino and kale, whereas SAEW treatment resulted in decreased chromaticity values when compared to the NaOCl treatment. Overall, there was a significant difference (p<0.05) between the efficacy of the SAEW and NaOCl treatments. These results indicate that washing with SAEW is an effective method to reduce the microorganisms and enhance the shelf-life of raw materials of Saengsik; therefore, it can be effectively used to sanitize ingredients of Saengik without affecting the other properties during storage.
The antimicrobial effects of two disinfectants commonly used in food industry on Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 15313 were studied. The two disinfectants tested were commercial benzalkonium chloride (BAC) and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). Their effects were studied on cells suspended in disinfectants (in vitro) and in the sponge model with the disinfectants (in vivo). When cells were exposed to $0\~0.1\%$ BAC and $0\~150\;ppm$ NaOCL for 20 minutes, BAC and NaOCl concentration more than $0.25\%$ and 100 ppm showed the antimicrobial effects respectively. This organism decreased rapidly during the first $0.5\~1$ minute followed by a slower decrease during the rest of the exposure time. Fifteen ml of cell solution $(about\;10^7\;CFU/ml\;in\;the\;TSB)$ was mixed with 15 ml of disinfectants in the sponge $(6.0{\times}4.0{\times}4.0cm)$, BAC and NaOCl concentration more than $0.1\%$ and 300 ppm showed the antimicrobial effects, and at $0.25\%$ and 800 ppm diminished in cell numbers 3-log cycles during the first 20 minutes. In the case of sponge model, 15 ml of cell solution and 15 ml of disinfectants $(0.25\%\;of\;BAC,\;800\;ppm\;of\;NaOCl)$ were suspended in the sponge during 20 minutes, washing with 200 ml of sterilized distilled water, and this sponge was transfered in the 100 ml TBS, and then incubated at various temperature. The cells were increased about 1-log cycle during 24 hrs at $5\~15^{\circ}C$. And the others temperature, the cells growth was in proporation to storage tepmerature and the cells were about $10^9\;CFU/ml$ after $1\~3$ days incubations.
