  • 현재 전력설비에 사용되고 있는 $SF_6$ 가스는 절연 및 소호성능이 우수하고 회복특성이 뛰어나기 때문에 각종 전력기기의 절연매체로서 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지만 산업사회의 발달로 인하여 도시의 공간 활용의 효율성 측면에서 전력기기들의 소형화, 지중화 및 고 신뢰화가 시도되고 있으며, 또한 온실가스에 대한 규제로서 '도쿄 의정서'가 정식 발효됨에 따라 환경문제로 인하여 전력설비의 $SF_6$ 가스의 유출 최소화, 대체 절연물질 개발 등의 친환경 재료의 개발이 새롭게 대두되고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 $SF_6$를 액화시켜 기존의 $SF_6$ 가스와 액체 $SF_6(LSF_6)$의 절연파괴특성을 측정/분석하여 $SF_6$의 대체물질로 $LSF_6$의 가능성을 검토하고, 혹한 지역에서 운용되고 있는 $SF_6$ 이용 전력설비의 온도저하에 따른 문제점을 구명하였다.

Changes in Breast-tumor Blood Flow in Response to Hypercapnia during Chemotherapy with Laser Speckle Flowmetry

  • Development of a biomarker for predicting tumor-treatment efficacy is a matter of great concern, to reduce time, medical expense, and effort in oncology therapy. In a preclinical study, we hypothesized that the blood-flow parameter based on laser speckle flowmetry (LSF) could be a potential indicator to estimate the efficacy of breast-cancer treatment. To verify this hypothesis, a 13762-MAT-B-III rat breast tumor was grown in a dorsal skinfold window chamber applied to a nude mouse, and the change in blood flow rate (BFR) - or the speckle flow index (SFI) is used together as the same meaning in this manuscript - was longitudinally monitored during tumor growth and metronomic cyclophosphamide treatment. Based on the daily LSF angiogram, several BFR parameters (baseline SFI, normalized SFI, and △rBFR) were compared to tumor size in the normal, treated, and untreated tumor groups. Despite the incomplete tumor treatment, we found that the daily changes in all BFR parameters tended to have partially positive correlation with tumor size. Moreover, we observed that the changes in baseline SFI and normalized SFI responded one day earlier than the tumor shrinkage during chemotherapy. However, daily variations in the hypercapnia-induced △rBFR lagged tumor shrinkage by one day. This study would contribute not only to evaluating tumor vascular response to treatment, but also to monitoring blood-flow-mediated diseases (in brain, skin, and retina) by using LSF in preclinical settings.

  • CELP 계열 보코더중 인터넷 폰 및 화상회의를 목적으로 개발된 G.723.1 보코더에서는 LPC를 LSP로 변환하기 위해 LPC 계수를 이용한 다항식을 구성한 다음 근을 검색하는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 근 검색시에는 256/pi의 범위 안에서 동일한 간격을 갖는 코사인 테이블을 구성하여 순차적으로 검색하게 된다. LSF의 근들은 포만트가 존재하는 대역에서 근들이 나타나게 되므로 유성음의 경우 저주파수 대역에서 무성음의 경우 고주파수 대역에서 많이 분포하게 된다. 하지만 G.723.1에서 사용하는 코사인 테이블은 음성신호의 특성을 고려하지 않고 균등한 간격을 갖는 값들을 사용함으로 음질을 저해할 수 있는 요소를 갖고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 음성의 특성을 고려한 코사인 테이블을 재구성함으로써 음질을 향상시킬 수 있었으며 주관적 음질평가인 MOS 시험결과 평균 1.8 정도의 음질향상을 가져올 수 있었다

  • 5.6kbps 의 전송율에서 fixed codebook 으로 ISPP의 dynamic sparse algebraic codebook을 이용한 ACELP 알고리즘을 제안한다. 저전송율에서 음질에 중대한 영향을 미치는 대수적 방식의 고정코드북이 가지는 문제점을 최소화하여 음질의 증진을 꾀하였다. 또한 추가 계산량이 필요없는 U/V 분리기를 도입하여 LSF 보간시 발생하는 천이구간에서의 지연을 최소화하였다. 구현된 5.6 kbps ACELP 는 전화선상의 음질을 시료로 하여 주관적 음질면에서 6.3 kbps MP-MLQ와 동등하였으며 MNRU 15dB에서 약간 낮았다.

Burnability and Mineral Properties of Clinker Added Chlorine (염소 함유 클링커의 소성성 및 광물특성에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, raw mix was mixed with CaCl2 for analyzing characteristics of clinker added chlorine and chlorine was added by 2,000ppm at high concentration condition. The raw mix added chlorine was burned at 1250℃~1350℃ and maintained during 10minutes at each maximum temperature. Clinker target modulus was LSF 92, SM 2.5 and IM 1.6 in this study. The burnability of clinker added chlorine was identified by free-CaO content. Free-CaO content decreased as chlorine content increased and free-CaO content of 1350℃-2000ppm clinker decreased by 1.5%. Optical microscope and XRD Analyses were used for identify mineral properties of clinker added chlorine. The mineral of clinker could not be observed at 1250℃ and the size of alite grew larger as chlorine content increased at 1350℃. It showed a good crystallizability as chlorine content increased. As chlorine content of clinker increased, clinker showed a good burnability and mineral property.

Improving Initial Abstraction Method of NRCS-CN for Estimating Effective Rainfall (유효우량 산정을 위한 NRCS-CN 모형의 초기손실량 산정방법 개선)

  • In order to improve the runoff estimation accuracy of the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) curve number (CN) model, this study incorporated rainfall and maximum potential retention as contributors for initial abstraction. The modification was proposed based on 658 rank-order data of rainfall and subsequent runoff from 15 watersheds. The NRCS-CN model (M1), one of its inspired modified model (M2), and the proposed model (M3) were analyzed employing different CN approaches. Using tabulated, calculated and least squares fitted CNs ($CN_T$, $CN_C$, $CN_{LSF}$, respectively), the models' performances were evaluated based on Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE), and Percent Bias (PBIAS). Applications of model M1, M2, and M3, respectively exhibited watershed cumulative mean [RMSE (23.60, 18.12, 16.04), NSE (0.54, 0.73, 0.79), and PBIAS (36.54, 20.25, 12.00)]. Similarly, using CNC (for M1 and M2 model) and $CN_{LSF}$ (for M3 model), the performance of three models respectively were assessed based on watershed cumulative mean [RMSE (17.17, 15.88, 13.82), NSE (0.76, 0.80, 0.85), and PBIAS (3.06, 4.47, 0.11)]. The proposed model (M3) that linked all of the NRCS-CN variants showed more statistically significant agreement between the observed and estimated data.

Utilization of Scheelite Mine Tailing as Raw Material of Ordinary Portland Cement (보통포틀랜드시멘트 원료로서 회중석 광미의 활용)

  • In order to use the mine tailing which was generated in the flotation process of scheelite ore into the raw material of ordinary portland cement, the characteristics of the prepared cement clinker was investigated. Scheelite mine tailing is composed of 68.8% of $SiO_2$, 8.6% of $Al_2$$O_3$, 10.8% of $Fe_2$$O_3$, 5.0% of CaO, respectively. It exists as $\alpha$-quartz, muscovite, clinochlore and has 8.0% of 88 $\mu\textrm{m}$ residue. When LSF, SM, and IM of the raw materials (such as limestone, convertor slag, fly ash, and mine tailing) are 91.0, 2.60, and 1.60, respectively, the burnability index of the raw materials is 50.7, the crystal size of $C_3$S and $\beta$-C$_2$S in the prepared clinker is 15∼35$\mu\textrm{m}$, and about 3.8% of scheelite mine tailing can be used as raw material.

  • Raw mix of molten clinker was fabricated using blast furnace slag as starting material. Raw mix was melted at 1620 for molten clinker fabrication. Color and mineral composition of molten clinker was investigated by XRD and colorimeter. It was found that the molten clinker contains alite and belite equivalent to OPC clinker mineral and shows higher whiteness value than that of OPC. Whiteness of the molten clinker decreased with LSF and SM. Also the whiteness value of the slag cement using molten clinker was higher than that of common slag cement.

  • 본 논문에서는 잔차신호를 모델링하기 위해 사용되는 동적희박대수코드북에 대해 분석하고 성능이 향상된 새로운 대수코드북 구조 및 검색과정을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리 즘은 대수 코드북의 단점을 계산량의 증가 없이 개선시켰다. 먼저 기존에 단순히 부호비트 만을 검색하는 것에 대해 다양한 펄스 진폭의 선택을 가능하게 하였다. 그리고 동일 트랙상 에서 두 펄스를 선택하게 하였으며 추가 계산량이 필요없는 무성음에서 유성음으로의 천이 구간 검출기를 이용하여 LSF 보간 시 발생하는 천이구간에서의 LP지연을 최소화하였다. 제 안된 알고리즘을 이용한 5.6kbps음성부호화기는 전화선상의 음질을 시료로 하여 주관적 음 질면에서 6.3kbps MP-MLQ와 동등하였으며 MNRU Q=15dB에서는 MP-MLQ에 비해 약간 의 음질열하가 발생하였다.

Breakdown characteristics of SF6 and Imitation Air in Temperature Decline

  • This paper describes experiments of the breakdown characteristics by temperature change of $SF_6$ gas and Imitation Air(I-Air) in model GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear). From the results of the experiments, the breakdown characteristics classify the vapor stage of $SF_6$ according to Paschen's law, in which the stage of coexistence for gas & liquid of the voltage value increases. This results in large deviation and the breakdown of the voltage(VB) low stage as the interior of the chamber is filled with a mixture of $SF_6$ that is not liquefacted and remaining air that can not be ventilated. The ability of $SF_6$ liquid($LSF_6$) insulation is higher than high-pressurize $SF_6$ gas. The VB of the I-Air decreases as the temperature drops and the VB also drops. It is considered that the results of this paper are fundamental data for the electric insulation design of superconductor and cryogenic equipment that will be studied and developed in the future.
