On the Chemical Diffusion Coefficient of H2O in AB1-xBxO(3-x/2)-type Perobskites

  • In proton-conducting perovskites, oxygen ions and protons make a diffusion pair for a chemical diffusion and thus lead to the transport of $H_2O$ under its chemical potential gradient. The present manuscript develops relationships between the chemical diffusion coefficient of $H_2O$ and the diffusion coefficients of protons and oxygen vacancies with an emphasis on the thermodynamic behavior of the oxygen vacancies. Depending on the degree of hydration X, two different expressions of the chemical diffusion coefficient were obtained : equation omitted and equation omitted.

  • Electrical properties of $\{(Sr_xCa_{1-x})_{0.95-y-z}Bi_2Pb_{0.05+y}\})Ti_{1.02}O_3$ ceramic were studied as a function of Sr/Ca ratio and Bi, Pb contents. Dielectric properties of specimens with different x, y, z values were explained in terms of ionic polarizability with Molecular Additionally Rules and Clausius-Mosotti equation. For the composition of $\{(Sr_{0.62}Ca_{0.38})_{0.90}Bi_{0.01}Pb_{0.09}\})Ti_{1.02}O_3$ and $\{(Sr_{0.62}Ca_{0.38})_{0.905}Bi_{0.015}Pb_{0.08}\})Ti_{1.02}O_3$, dielectric constant$({\varepsilon}_r)$, quality factor(Q) and temperature coefficient(TC) were 389, 3048, -1490 and 394, 1869, -1340 at 1MHz, respectively.

수열합성법으로 제조된 이산화티탄에 의한 축산폐수 처리에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Treatment of Swine Wastewater Using Titanium Dioxide Prepared by Hydrothermal Method)

  • 본 연구는 이산화티탄 광촉매 반응에 의한 축산폐수 처리에 대하여 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 첨가제의 몰비($(C_2H_5)_2NH_2/Ti(OC_3H_7)_4$)를 1, R 비($H_2O\;mol/Ti(OC_3H_7)_4\;mol$)를 42로 하여 수열합성법으로 이산화티탄 졸을 제조하였다. 축산폐수에 대한 이산화티탄 광촉매 반응은 이산화티탄, UV가 모두 존재할 경우가 단독으로 존재할 경우보다 활성이 증가하였고, 축산폐수의 pH가 산성일 때 활성이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 이산화티탄 광촉매 반응은 자외선의 세기, 광촉매의 량, 공기 주입량, 과산화수소의 주입량이 증가함에 따라 활성도가 증가하였으나 과산화수소의 량이 일정수준 이상에서는 오히려 활성의 감소가 일어났다.

  • 본 논문에서는 $1.62{\times}1.0{\times}0.88mm^3$ 크기의 C-type과 $1.58{\times}0.82{\times}0.94mm^3$ 크기의 H-type RF 칩 인덕터를 제작하고 그들의 고주파 특성을 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 저손실 $Al_2O_3$ 코아 물질과 직경 $40{\mu}m$의 구리(Cu) 코일을 사용하였다. 권선수를 $2{\sim}14$회로 하여 인덕턴스(L), 품질계수(Q), 임피던스의 크기와 위상, 커패시턴스(C)를 HP4291B Impedance/Material Analyzer로 측정하였다. 10회 권선시 C-type은 55nH, H-type은 67nH, 14회 권선시 C-type은 100nH, H-type은 122nH 정도로 측정되었다. 실험 결과 H-type이 C-type보다 동일 권선수에 대하여 높은 인덕턴스와 높은 자기공진주파수(SRF)를 나타냄을 확인하였다. 또한 최대 품질계수는 두 형태가 거의 비슷한 값($55{\sim}87$)을 가짐을 관찰하였다. 따라서 H-type이 C-type보다 우수한 성질을 나타냄을 알 수 있다.

Growth Factors Upregulated by Uric Acid Affect Guanine Deaminase-Induced Melanogenesis

  • Uric acid produced by guanine deaminase (GDA) is involved in photoaging and hyperpigmentation. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) generated by uric acid plays a role in photoaging. However, the mechanism by which uric acid stimulates melanogenesis in GDA-overexpressing keratinocytes is unclear. Keratinocyte-derived paracrine factors have been identified as important mechanisms of ultraviolet-induced melanogenesis. Therefore, the role of paracrine melanogenic growth factors in GDA-induced hypermelanosis mediated by uric acid was examined. The relationships between ROS and these growth factors were examined. Primary cultured normal keratinocytes overexpressed with wild type or mutant GDA and those treated with xanthine or uric acid in the presence or absence of allopurinol, H2O2, or N-acetylcysteine (NAC) were used in this study. Intracellular and extracellular bFGF and SCF levels were increased in keratinocytes by wild type, but not by loss-of-function mutants of GDA overexpression. Culture supernatants from GDA-overexpressing keratinocytes stimulated melanogenesis, which was restored by anti-bFGF and anti-SCF antibodies. Allopurinol treatment reduced the expression levels of bFGF and SCF in both GDA-overexpressing and normal keratinocytes exposed to exogenous xanthine; the exogenous uric acid increased their expression levels. H2O2-stimulated tyrosinase expression and melanogenesis were restored by NAC pretreatment. However, H2O2 or NAC did not upregulate or downregulate bFGF or SCF, respectively. Overall, uric acid could be involved in melanogenesis induced by GDA overexpression in keratinocytes via bFGF and SCF upregulation not via ROS generation.

적층형 태양전지를 위한 비정질실리콘계 산화막 박막태양전지의 광흡수층 및 반사체 성능 향상 기술 (Advances in Absorbers and Reflectors of Amorphous Silicon Oxide Thin Film Solar Cells for Tandem Devices)

  • Highly photosensitive and wide bandgap amorphous silicon oxide (a-$SiO_x$:H) films were developed at low temperature ranges ($100{\sim}150^{\circ}C$) with employing plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition by optimizing $H_2/SiH_4$ gas ratio and $CO_2$ flow. Photosensitivity more than $10^5$ and wide bandgap (1.81~1.85 eV) properties were used for making the a-$SiO_x$:H thin film solar cells, which exhibited a high open circuit voltage of 0.987 V at the substrate temperature of $100^{\circ}C$. In addition, a power conversion efficiency of 6.87% for the cell could be improved up to 7.77% by employing a new n-type nc-$SiO_x$:H/ZnO:Al/Ag triple back-reflector that offers better short circuit currents in the thin film photovoltaic devices.

High-temperature Oxidation of Nano-multilayered AlTiSiN Thin Films deposited on WC-based carbides

  • Nano-multilayered, crystalline AlTiSiN thin films were deposited on WC-TiC-Co substrates by the cathodic arc plasma deposition. The deposited film consisted of wurtzite-type AlN, NaCl-type TiN, and tetragonal $Ti_2N$ phases. Their oxidation characteristics were studied at 800 and $900^{\circ}C$ for up to 20 h in air. The WC-TiC-Co oxidized fast with large weight gains. By contrast, the AlTiSiN film displayed superior oxidation resistance, due mainly to formation of the ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$-rich surface oxide layer, below which an ($Al_2O_3$, $TiO_2$, $SiO_2$)-intermixed scale existed. Their oxidation progressed primarily by the outward diffusion of nitrogen, combined with the inward transport of oxygen that gradually reacted with Al, Ti, and Si in the film.

실리카 광도파로의 Core층인 Silicon Oxynitride후박의 굴절률 제어 (Refractive Index Control of Silicon Oxynitride Thick Films on Core Layer of Silica Optical Waveguide)

  • 플라즈마 화학기상증착(PECVD)법을 이용하여 p-type Si(100) 웨이퍼에 Silicon Oxynitride(SiON) 후막을 SiH$_4$ , $N_2$O, $N_2$ 가스를 혼합하여 증착하였다. Prism coupler측정을 통해 SiON 후막의 굴절률 1.4620~1.5312을 얻었으며, rf power가 180 W에서 5.92$\mu$m/h의 증착률을 나타내었다. 증착변수에 따른 화학적 조성의 영향은 X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy(XPS) 을 통하여 관찰하였다. 또한, SiON 후막 증착후에 $1.5\mu$m 부근의 흡수띠를 제거하기 위해 105$0^{\circ}C$$N_2$ 분위기에서 2시간 동안 열처리를 행하였다.

회분식 유동층반응기에서 세 종류 아연계 탈황제의 석탄가스 환원도, 수분함량, 황화수소함량에 따른 반응성 평가 (Analysis of Reactivity of Zn-Based Desulfurization Sorbents for Reducing Power, Water Vapor Content and H2S Content of the Coal Gas in a Batch-Type Fluidized-Bed Reactor)

  • 본 연구에서는 석탄가스의 환원도와 석탄가스에 함유된 $H_2O/H_2S$ 농도변화에 따른 세 가지 종류의 아연계 탈황제의 반응성능을 회분식 유동층반응기에서 분석하였다. 가스화에서 생성되는 가스의 조성은 환원도가 각각 다른 KRW(Kellogg-Rust-Westinghouse) 공기이용 가스 조성, Shell 산소이용 가스 조성, 고등기술연구원의 가스 조성을 기준으로 모사가스를 이용하여 입구의 $H_2O$$H_2S$ 농도를 변화시켜 실험을 수행하였다. $H_2O$의 농도는 5부터 30%까지 $H_2S$의 농도는 0.5에서 2%로 변화시켜 탈황성능을 분석하였다. 실험 결과 $H_2O$의 농도가 증가할수록 탈황성능이 감소하고 입구의 $H_2S$ 농도가 증가할수록 탈황반응기 후단의 $H_2S$ 농도 역시 증가하였다. 모든 조건에서 환원도에 따른 탈황성능 변화는 없었으며 탈황성능은 최저 99.5%로 건식탈황제를 이용하여 99% 이상의 $H_2S$ 제거 성능을 보이는 것을 확인하였다.

무정광산의 금-은 광화작용 (Gold-Silver Mineralization of the Mujeong Mine, Korea)

  • The Mujeong au-Ag hydrothermal vein type deposits occur within the Teriary igneous rocks of the Janggi basin. Ore minerals consist of pyrite, pyrrhotite, sphalertite, chalcopyrite, galena, cosalite, lillianite, argentite and electrum, and associated with epidotization, sericitization and pyritization. Fluid inclusion studies reveal that ore fluids were low saline with a simple NaCl-$H_{2}O$ system. Fluid inclusion data indicate that homogenization temperatures and salinities of fluid are 150 to $340^{\circ}C$ and 1.0 to 6.5wt.% NaCl equivalent, respectively. Sulfur isotope compositions of sulfied minerals ( ${\delta}^{34}S$=6.2 to 9.6$\textperthousand$) indicate that the ${\delta}^{34}S_{H2S}$ value of ore fluids was about 10.4$\textperthousand$. This ${\delta}^{34}S_{H2S}$ value is likely consistent with and hydrothermal sulfur, whereas the fluids were highly influenced by mixing with meteoric water. Measured and calculated oxygen and hydrogen isotope values (${\delta}^{18}O_{H2O}$=-2.7 to 3.4 $\textperthousand$, ${\delta}D_{H2O}$ = -83.6 to -52.7 $\textperthousand$) of ore forming fluids suggest mixing with hydrothermal and meteoric water. Equilibrium thermodynamic interpretation by mineral assemblages and chemistry indicates that sulfur fugacities (-log $fs_2$) ore forming fluids range from 9.0 to 12.6 atm stage II.
