Congestion Control in ATM Networks using an $H_{\infty}$ Filter ($H_{\infty}$ 필터를 이용한 초고속 비동기전송망의 체증 제어)

  • 본 논문에서는 초고속 비동기전송(ATM)망에서의 체증 문제를 풀기위해 $H_{\infty}$ 필터 사용을 제안한다. 많은 제어기들에 대한 초기 연구들은 가용 비트율이 망 체증이 제거될 수 있도록 버퍼에서의 원하는 셀들의 큐의 길이를 원하는 값 범위내에서 성공적으로 조절될 수 있음을 보이고 있다. 본 논문에서는 망의 노이즈를 가우시안 랜덤 열로 근사화하는 ATM망에 대하여 현대 제어 기법인 $H_{\infty}$ 필터를 적용한다. 따라서 제안한 $H_{\infty}$ 필터는 망의 외란으로 밭생하는 망의 출력의 영향을 미리 주어지는 $H_{\infty}$ 노옴값 이내로 유지시켜준다. 따라서 미리 주어지는 $H_{\infty}$ 노옴값이 작다면 제안한 $H_{\infty}$ 필터는 외란에 강인한 성능을 보여줄 수 있다. $H_{\infty}$ 필터 이득은 대수적인 리카티 방정식의 해로 구해진다.

Delay-dependent $H_{\infty}$ filtering for continuous-time singular systems with multiple state-delays (다중 상태 시간지연을 가지는 연속시간 특이시스템의 지연종속 $H_{\infty}$ 필터링)

  • In this paper, we consider the problem of $H_{\infty}$ filtering for continuous-time singular systems with multiple state-delays. The aim of designed filter is to guarantee regularity, impulse-free, asymptotic stability and $H_{\infty}$ norm bound of filtering error singular system. By establishing a finite sum inequality based on quadratic terms, a new delay-dependent BRL (bounded real lemma) for singular systems with multiple state-delays is derived. Based on the result, the existence condition of $H_{\infty}$ filter and filter design method are proposed in terms of LMI (linear matrix inequality). Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the validity of the design methods.

  • 칼만/위너 필터 같은 기존의 음성향상 알고리즘은 잡음의 선험적 지식을 요구하고, 음성신호와 추정신호의 오차분산을 최소화하는데 중점을 두었다. 따라서, 잡음에 대한 통계적 추정에 오류가 있을 경우 결과에 악영향을 미칠 수 있다. 그러나 $H_\infty$ 필터는 잡음에 대한 어떠한 가정이나 선험적 지식을 요구하지 않는다. $H_\infty$ 필터는 최소상계(Upper Bound Least)를 적용하여 추정된 모든 신호들로부터 최소 에러 신호를 갖는 최상의 추정신호를 찾아내므로 칼만/위너 필터보다 잡음의 변화에 강인하다. 본 논문에서는 학습 신호로부터 은닉 마코프 모델의 파리미터를 추정한 후, 오염된 신호를 고정된 개수의 $H_\infty$ 필터를 통과시켜 각 출력에 가중된 합으로 향상된 음성 신호를 구한다. 음성의 통계적 특성을 이용하여 모델 파라미터를 추정하는 은닉 마코프 모델과 잡음의 변화에 강인한 $H_\infty$ 알고리즘을 사용해서, 다중 $H_\infty$필터에 의한 강인한 음성향상 방법을 제안하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 Glover-Doyle의 H$\infty$ 설계기법을 이용하여 H$\infty$ 성능경계를 만족하는 Kalman 필터를 설계하는 방법을 제시한다. 제시한 방법을 사용하면, kalman 필터의 성능 강인성과 안정화 강인성 문제와의 관계를 설계변수의 설정으로 설계자가 적절하게 선택함으로써 구조적 불확실성에 대하여 비교적 강인한 H$\infty$ -norm Kalman 필터를 설계할 수 있도록 한다. 설계의 예를 통하여 H$\infty$ -norm Kalman 필터의 설게방법을 보이고, H2-norm Kalman 필터와 비교함으로써 제시된 방법이 특성을 보인다.

  • In this paper, we present a reduced-order parameter-dependent robust $H_{\infty}$ filter design method for discrete-time singular systems with polytopic uncertainties. A BRL(bounded real lemma) for parameter-dependent singular systems is derived from a parameter-dependent Lyapunov function. On the basis of the obtained BRL, low order robust $H_{\infty}$ filter design method is presented by polytopic approach, new reduced-order method, and LMI(linear matrix inequality) technique. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrated the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • The most basic algorithm in SLAM(Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) technique of mobile robots is EKF(Extended Kalman Filter) SLAM. However, it requires prior information of characteristics of the system and the noise model which cannot be estimated in accurate. By this limit, Kalman Filter shows the following behaviors in a highly uncertain environment: becomes too sensitive to internal parameters, mathematical consistency is not kept, or yields a wrong estimation result. In contrast, $H_{\infty}$ filter does not requires a prior information in detail. Thus, based on a idea that $H_{\infty}$ filter based SLAM will be more robust than the EKF-SLAM, we propose a framework of $H_{\infty}$ filter based SLAM and show that suggested algorithm shows slightly better result man me EKF-SLAM in a highly uncertain environment.

  • This paper deals with a nonlinear fuzzy $H_{\infty}$ filter design for SOC(state of charge) estimation in Lithium polymer battery. The dynamic equation of the battery cell is modeled as a T-S fuzzy system and the filter is designed via solutions of linear matrix inequalities. In order to illustrate the performance of the designed filter, a computer simulation is performed using the experimental data with the UDDS(urban dynamometer driving schedule) current profile.

  • The design method of robust $H_{\infty}$ filtering for discrete-time uncertain linear systems is investigated in this paper. The uncertain parameters are assumed to be unknown but belonging to known convex compact set of polytope type. The objective is to design a stable robust $H_{\infty}$ filter guaranteeing the asymptotic stability of filtering error dynamics and present an $L_2$ induced norm bound analytically for the modified $H_{\infty}$ performance measure. The sufficient condition for the existence of robust $H_{\infty}$ filter and the filter design method are established by LMI(linear matrix inequality) approach, which can be solved efficiently by convex optimization. The proposed algorithm is checked through an example.

  • This paper deals with fuzzy $H_{\infty}$ filtering problem of discrete-time nonlinear Markovian jump systems with state and output time delays. The purpose is to design fuzzy $H_{\infty}$ filter such that the corresponding estimation error system with time delays and initial state uncertainties is stochastically stable and satisfies an $H_{\infty}$ performance level. A sufficient condition for the existence of fuzzy $H_{\infty}$ filter is given in terms of matrix inequalities. In order to relax conservatism, a stochastic mode dependent fuzzy Lyapunov function is employed. The Lyapunov function not only is dependent on the operation modes of system, but also includes the fuzzy membership functions. An illustrative example is finally given to show the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Design of Robust and Non-fragile $H_{\infty}$ Kalman-type Filter for System with Parameter Uncertainties: PLMI Approach (변수 불확실성을 가지는 시스템에 대한 견실비약성 $H_{\infty}$ 칼만형필터 설계: PLMI 접근법)

  • In this paper, we describe the synthesis of robust and non-fragile Kalman filter design for a class of uncertain linear system with polytopic uncertainties and filter gain variations. The sufficient condition of filter existence, the design method of robust non-fragile filter, and the measure of non-fragility in filter are presented via LMIs(Linear Matrix Inequality) technique. And the obtained sufficient condition can be represented as PLMIs(parameterized linear matrix inequalities) that is, coefficients of LMIs are functions of a parameter confined to a compact set. Since PLMIs generate infinite LMIs, we use relaxation technique, find the finite solution for robust non-fragile filter, and show that the resulting filter guarantees the asymptotic stability with parameter uncertainties and filter fragility. Finally, a numerical example will be shown.
