  • 최근의 R&D동향은 각 분야에서 발전해온 기술들을 집약하여 다른 분야로 그 영역을 확대 적용함으로써 융 복합기술의 신규 영역창출을 도모하고, 고유영역의 한계를 극복하는 신 패러다임의 기술시대로 진입하고 있다. 신재생에너지원을 수자원 설비에 적용하는 수상태양광발전 융합기술은 저수지 공유수면 개발 이용을 통한 국토의 효율적 활용, 수자원을 이용한 친환경에너지생산 및 녹조류 제거, 어류번식 등을 할 수 있는 고부가가치 하이테크 기술로 기존의 제한된 수자원설비의 이용기술 영역을 탈피하여, 신재생에너지, IT, BT기술이 융합된 GT기술로 미래형 친환경 저수지 실증기술로 개발이 가능한 분야이다. 이 기술이 상용화 될 경우 K-water가 보유한 다목적댐 저수지 유역면적의 1(%)만 개발해도 352(MW)정도의 친환경에너지를 생산 할 수 있을 것으로 추정하고 있다. 국토가 협소한 우리나라의 경우 그동안 태양광개발로 인해 임야 및 농지 등의 환경훼손이 심각한 수준에 이르고 있어 신재생에너지개발이 다른 양상의 환경파괴를 일으키고 있다. 수상 태양광발전기술은 자연과 어우러진 친환경융합기술로 태양광부문의 태양광모듈기술의 비약적 발전과 가격 경쟁력확보, 주변기술 등이 획기적으로 개발 될 경우 친환경수자원 분야의 미래성장 동력으로 자리매김 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Effect of Green Tea on the Anti-Duodenal Ulcer in Cysteamine- Administrated Rats (녹차추출액이 Cysteamine투여 흰쥐의 항십이지장궤양에 미치는 영향)

  • Effect of green tea extract, on duodenal ulceration was studied in male Sprague Dawley rats treated with cysteamine, a drug, which causes duodenal ulcers in experimental animal. As a result, in the proximal duodenum, a significant decrease of ulceration was detected twenty four hours after cysteamine injection in rats raised in green tea extract for 63days. Special reference to duodenal alkaline phosphatase activity was measured in mucosal homogenates. In control rats raised in tap water Riven saline, significant decrease was observed in proximal duodenal alkaline phosphataes activity. The decrease effect seems site specific, since the enzyme in the distal duodenum remains. Moreover the effect cysteamine in control rats alkaline phosphatase is specific, because, in rats raised in green tea extracts did not show significant change in activity. It is suggested that green tea extract acts in ideal properties as an anti-duodenal ulcer agent.

  • Group Technology (GT) is a technique for identifying and bringing together related or similar components in a production process in order to take advantage of their similarities by making use of, for example, the inherent economies of flow production methods. The process of identification, from large variety and total of components, of the part families requiring similar manufacturing operations and forming the associated groups of machines is referred as 'machine-component grouping'. First part of this paper is devoted to describing a hierarchical divisive algorithm based on graph theory to find the natural part families. The objective is to form components into part families such that the degree of inter-relations is high among components within the same part family and low between components of different part families. Second part of this paper focuses on establishing cell design procedures. The aim is to create cells in which the most expensive and important machines-called key machine - have a reasonably high utilization and the machines should be allocated to minimize the intercell movement of machine loads. To fulfil the above objectives, 0-1 integer programming model is developed and the solution procedures are found. Next an attempt is made to test the feasibility of the proposed method. Several different problems appearing in the literature are chosen and the results air briefly showed.

Influence of Gami-oryungsan on bromobenzene-induced liver injury in experimental animal (Bromobenzene독성(毒性)에 의한 간기능손상(肝機能損傷)에 미치는 가미오령산의 영향(影響))

  • Objective : To investigate the hepatoprotective effects of Gami-oryungsan on the liver damage induced by bromobenzene. Method : The development of fibrosis and acute liver injury was examined by the chemical analysis of AST, AL T, ${\gamma}$-GTP . and epoxide hydrolase glutathione S-transferase glutathione peroxidase enzyme activity, lipidoperoxide levels, glutathione levels were measured and oberved. Results : The increasing levels of lipidoperoxide was decreased proportionally according to dose of extract GO. Epoxide hydrolase glutathioneS-transferase glutathione peroxidase enzyme activity highly increased in GO pre-acupunctured group compared with the group treated with only bromobenzene. The increase of serum AST, AL T, ${\gamma}$-GTP enzyme activity of mice by bromobenzene was inhibited by the administration of GO. Lipidoperoxide levels in rat's liver decreased compared to the case of bromobenzene-treated group. The levels of Glutathione decreased by bromo benzene were increased highly in GO pre-acupunctured group. Conclusion : These results suggest that GO extract recovers the damage of liver due to bromobenzene intoxication by decreasing the lipid peroxidation AST AL T ${\gamma}$-GTP enzyme activity and increasing epoxide hydrolase glutathioneS-transferase glutathione peroxidase enzyme activity, glutathione levels.

  • The performance improvement and emission reduction in a turbocharged D.I. diesel engine was studied experimentally in this paper. The system of intake port, fuel injection and turbochager are very important factors which have influence on the engine performance and exhaust emission because the properties in the injected fuel depend on the combustion characteristics. Through these experiments it can be expected to meet performance and emission by optimizing the main parameters; the swirl ratio of intake port, fuel injection system and turbocharger. The swirl ratio of intake port was modified by hand-working and measured by impulse swirl meter. Through this steady flow test, we knew that the increase of swirl ratio is decreasing the mean flow coefficient, whereas the gulf factor is increasing. And the optimum results of engine performance and emission are as follows; the swirl ratio is 2.43, injection timing is BTDC 13。 CA, compression ratio is 16, combustion bowl is re-entrant 5$^{\circ}$, nozzle hole diameter is $\Phi$0.28*6, turbocharger is GT40 model which are compressor A/R 0.58 AND turbine A/R 1.19.

Kinetics and Mechanism of the Addition of Benzylamines to α-Cyano-β-phenylacrylamides in Acetonitrile

  • Nucleophilic addition reactions of benzylamines (BA; $XC_6H_4CH_2NH_2$) to $\alpha-cyano-\beta$-phenylacrylamides (CPA; $YC_6H_4CH=C(CN)CONH_2$) have been investigated in acetonitrile at 25.0 ${^{\circ}C}$. The rate is first order with respect to BA and CPA and no base catalysis is observed. The addition of BA to CPA occurs in a single step in which the addition of BA to $C_{\beta}$ of CPA and proton transfer from BA to $C_{\alpha}$ of CPA take place concurrently with a four-membered cyclic transition state structure. The magnitude of the Hammett ($\rho_X$) and Bronsted ($\beta_X$) coefficients are rather small suggesting an early tansition state (TS). The sign and magnitude of the crossinteraction constant, $\rho_XY$ (= −D0.26), is comparable to those found in the normal bond formation processes in the $S_N2$ and addition reactions. The normal kinetic isotope effect ($k_H/k_D\;{\gt}$ 1.0) and relatively low ${\Delta}H^{\neq}$ and large negative ${\Delta}S^{\neq}$ values are also consistent with the mechanism proposed.

A Heuristic Approach to Machine-Part Grouping Cellular Manufacturing (셀 생산방식에서 기계-부품 그룹을 형성하는 발견적 해법)

  • This paper proposes the heuristic approach for the generalized GT(Group Technology) problem to consider the restrictions which are given the number of cell, maximum number of machines and minimum number of machines. This approach is classified into two stages. In the first stage, we use the similarity coefficient method which is proposed and calculate the similarity values about each pair of all machines and align these values in descending order. If two machines which is selected is possible to link the each other on the edge of machine cell and they don't have zero similarity value, then we assign the machines to the machine cell. In the second stage, it is the course to form part families using proposed grouping efficacy. Finally, machine-part incidence matrix is realigned to block diagonal structure. The results of using the proposed approach are compared to the Modified p-median model.

Conformational Analysis of Trimannoside and Bisected Trimannoside Using Aqueous Molecular Dynamics Simulations

  • The conformational properties of oligosaccharides are important to understand carbohydrate-protein interactions. A trimannoside, methyl 3,6-di-O-($\alpha$-D-Man)-$\alpha$-D-Man (TRIMAN) is a basic unit of N-linked oligosaccharides. This TRIMAN moiety was further modified by GlcNAc (BISECT), which is important to biological activity of N-glycan. To characterize the trimannoside and its bisecting one we performed a molecular dynamics simulation in water. The resulting models show the conformational transition with two major and minor conformations. The major conformational transition results from the $\omega$ angle transition; another minor transition is due to the $\psi$ angle transition of $\alpha$ (1 $\rightarrow$ 6) linkage. The introduction of bisecting GlcNAc on TRIMAN made the different population of the major and minor conformations of the TRIMAN moiety. Omega ($\omega$) angle distribution is largely changed and the population of gt conformation is increased in BISECT oligosaccharide. The inter-residue hydrogen bonds and water bridges via bisecting GlcNAc residue make alterations on the local and overall conformation of TRIMAN moiety. These changes of conformational distribution for TRIMAN moiety can affect the overall conformation of N-glycan and the biological activity of glycoprotein.

The Effect of Water on the Interface Shear Strength between Geosynthetics (물이 토목섬유 사이의 접촉 전단강도에 미치는 영향)

  • Various geosynthetics used as liners or the Protection layers are installed in the solid waste landfill. The interface shear strength between geosynthetics installed at the slope of the landfill is a very important variable for the safe design of bottom and cover systems in the solid waste landfill. The interface shear strengths between (1) Geomembrane(GM)/Geotexile(GT) and (2) Geomembrane(GM)/Geosynthetic Clay Liner(GCL) were estimated by a large direct shear test in this study and were evaluated by the Mohr-Coulomb failure criterion. Especially, this research is focused on the effect of water which exists between geosynthetics because interfaces become easily wet or hydrated by rain, leachate and groundwater beneath liners. The strength reduction at large displacement and the effects of the magnitude of normal stresses and GCL hydration methods also investigated. The test results showed that the interface shear strength and shear behavior varied depending upon the magnitude of normal stresses, water at the interface, and hydration methods. Summary of secant friction angles, which could be used as reference values at a site where similar geosynthetics are installed, together with normal stress and hydration condition are presented.

  • 항공우주의 연구를 위해 대용량의 컴퓨팅 자원 이용, 실험 결과의 상호 교류 및 분석, 온라인 상에서의 자동 실행 등의 서비스가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 이미 개발된 e-AIRS[1],[2]의 활용을 극대화하고 병렬해석에 많이 사용되고 있는 동적 파라메터 실험 서비스를 구현하고자 한다. 동적 파라메터 실험 서비스는 복잡한 현상을 포함한 다양한 계산 수행을 지원하기위해, 동적으로 파라메터를 생성하고 효율적으로 동시에 작업들을 실행하는 서비스이다. 또한 GT4(Globus Toolkit 4)[3] WSRF를 기반으로 웹 서비스로 구현하여 서비스의 이용 및 접근을 용이하게 하고자 한다. 연구자간의 효과적인 정보 공유 및 협의 서비스를 제공함으로써 항공 우주 연구 개발에 있어 효율적인 환경을 지원함은 물론 연구자간 협력을 통한 신뢰성 있는 결과 값을 도출할 수 있도록 하고 있다.
