$CaF_2$가 Filler로 첨가된 유리복합체의 고주파 유전특성 (High Frequency Dielectric Properties of $CaF_2$ filled Glass-Composites)

  • Effects of $CaF_2$ addition as a filler on the high frequency dielectric properties and sintering of CaO-$Al_2O_3-SiO_2-B_2O_3$(CASB) and ZnO-MgO-$B_2O_3-SiO_2$(ZMBS) glass composites were investigated. The optimal glass composition in the CASB system was 33.0CaO-$17.0Al_2O_3-35.0SiO_2-15.0B_O_3$(in wt%). The corresponding dielectric properties were k=8.1 and $Q{\times}fo$=1,200GHz. The sintering temperature was $800{\mu}m$. In case of 2MBS system, 25.0ZnO-25.0MgO-20.0$B_2O_3-30.0SiO_2$(in wt%) glass showed k=6.8 and $Q{\times}fo$=5,200GHz when it was sintered at $750^{\circ}C$. The maximum amount of $CaF_2$ in the CASB and 2MBS glass system without any detrimental effect on the sintering was 25.0 v/o and 15.0 v/o, respectively. The addition of $CaF_2$ in the glass systems improved the high frequency dielectric properties. In case of CASB+$CaF_2$ composite, k was 7.1 and $Q{\times}fo$ was 2,300GHz. And in case of 2MBS+$CaF_2$ composite, k was 5.9 and $Q{\times}fo$ was 8,100GHz. $CaF_2$ addition also reduced sintering temperature. Effects of $CaF_2$ on the dielectric and sintering properties was analyzed in terms of viscosity and crystallization behavior changes due to the interaction between $CaF_2$ and the glass systems.

  • 본 연구에서는 고유전율의 저온소성용 글라스/세라믹을 제조하고자, SiO2-TiO2-RO계 결정화 유리를 제조하고 Al2O3를 필러 물질로 혼합하여 복합체를 제조하고 그 특성을 관찰하였다. 본 유리조성으로써 $900^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 결정화되는 유리의 제조가 가능하였고, RO (BaO, CaO, SrO)의 성분에 따라 결정화 온도는 변화함을 알 수 있었다. 본 유리조성에 $Bi_2O_3$를 플럭스로 첨가하고, 세라믹 필러로써 Al2O3를 사용하여 $860^{\circ}C$에서 소성함으로써 고유전율의 저온소성용 글라스/세라믹의 제조가 가능하였고, 이때 복합체의 밀도는 3.96g/$\textrm{cm}^3$ 이었고, 유전율은 17, Q.f 값은 600이었다.

고무물성(物性)에 미치는 국산(國産) 무기충전제(無機充塡劑)의 효과(效果)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on Effect of Inorganic Fillers to Rubber Properties)

  • This study deals with both effects of inorganic fillers to vulcanized rubbers such as NR, CR, EPDM, NBR & SBR and inorganic characteristics of domestic fillers in comparision with hard clay produced in the USA. The results were as follows. 1. Main ingredient of domestic clay "Ha-dong clay" was Halloysite, "No-ha Island" was Pyrophyllite with $\alpha$-Quartz, and both of "Hard clay" & "Hwa-soon clay" were proved to be Kaolinite by XRD, DT-TGA and chemical analysis by XRF. 2. Tensile strength value of SBR compounded with these fillers, was Hard clay $146kg\;f/cm^2$, Kaolinite $123kg\;f/cm^2$, Pyrophyllite $82kg\;f/cm^2$, Halloysite $80kg\;f/cm^2$, precipitated $CaCO_3\;27kg\;f/cm^2$, and ground $CaCO_3$ was $21kg\;f/cm^2$. These results showed the increase of seven times according to filler species. 3. The physical properties of non-crystalline rubbers, such as SBR, NBR & EPDM, compared with NR & CR, have been considerably changed according to crystalline phase, particle size, shape and surface structure of fillers. Especially, tensile strength value in case of SBR & EPDM, was differentiated about 1.5 times by the particle size of fillers. 4. In SBR, physical properties of rubber compounded with Kaolinite which was surface treated with fatty acid and silane, almost approach to the value of hard clay. 5. Delayed cure time of Kaolinite and decrease of rubber properties by $CaCO_3$ can be improved by blending kaolinite & $CaCO_3$ in the ratio of 2:1.

  • Sintering characteristics and dielectric properties of low temperature sinterable Glass/Ceramic dielectric materials were investigated. The dielectric materials which were developed for microwave frequency applications consist of SiO2-TiO2-Bi2O3-RO system(RO:BaO-CaO-SrO) crystallizable glass and Al2O3 as a ceramic filler. Sintering experiments showed that no more densification occurred above 80$0^{\circ}C$ and bulk density and shrinkage depended on Al2O3 content only. Results of dielectric measurements showed that $\varepsilon$r Q$\times$f and $\tau$f of the material containing 30wt% Al2O3 were 17.3, 600 and +23 ppm respectively. Those values for 45 and 60wt% Al2O3 samples were 11.6, 1400, +0.7 ppm and 7.2, 2000, -8.5 ppm, repectively. The results clearly showed that the Glas/Ceramic materials of present experiment decreased in $\varepsilon$r and increased in $\times$f value and changed from positive to negative value in $\tau$f value with the increasement of Al2O3 content.

저유전율 소재에서의 유리조성에 대한 분석 (Analysis of Glass Composition on Low k Materials)

  • The effect of several $SiO_2-B_2O_3-Al_2O_3$-R(R;Ca, Sr, Ba) borosilicate glass system on sintering behavior, dielectric properties and mechanical properties of glass/ceramic composites were investigated. The amount of '+2 valency' metal elements(Ca, Sr, Ba) were examined in LTCC composite of low k glass with cordierite filler. It was sintered for 60minutes in temperature range from 850C to 950. Properties of frit and glass/ceramic composites were analyzed by DTA, XRD, SEM, Network Analyzer, UTM and so on. Dielectric constant ($\varepsilon_r$) and $Q{\times}f_0$ (Q) of the composite with 50% glass contents demonstrated $\varepsilon_r$ = 5.4 $Q{\times}f_0$ = 1600 GHz. Sintering was complete and maximum bending strength of 160MPa was obtained.

  • 고주파에서 사용하기 위한 $SiO_2-TiO_2-Bi_2O_3$-RO계(RO:BaO-CaO-SrO)를 주성분으로 하는 결정화 유리와 세라믹 충진재로서 $Al_2O_3$를 혼합하여 제조한 저온 소성용 Glass/Ceramic 유전체 모재와 Ag-thick film의 동시 소결시 발생할 수 있는 소결 부정합과 그 해소 방안을 연구하였다. 적층된 Glass/Ceramic 유전체 sheet와 Ag-thick film의 동시 소결시에 소결체는 sheet와 film의 densification rate 차 등에 의해 큰 camber 현상과 그로 인해 Ag-film에 crack이 발생하였다. 이를 교정하기 위해 유리 성분과 $Al_2O_3$성분이 혼합된 유전체 분말에 $B_2O_3$를 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 vol% 첨가한 결과를 보면 $B_2O_3$첨가량이 증가함에 따라 소결체의 camber 현상은 점점 크게 줄어들었으며 14 vol% 첨가된 경우에는 거의 관찰되지 않았다. 또한 $BaO_3$첨가량이 증가함에 따라 유전율($varepsilon_{r}$)은 점점 감소하였고 Q$\times$f 값은 크게 증가하는 경향을 나타내었으며 $\tau_{f}$ 값은 양(+)의 값으로 점점 크게 변하였다.

시멘트 혼합재로서 정유사 탈황석고를 활용하여 제조한 탄산화물의 적용성 분석 (Applicability analysis of carbondioxide conversion capture materials produced by desulfurization gypsum for cement admixture)

  • 본 연구에서는 탈황석고(DG)에 이산화탄소를 반응시켜 만든 탄산화물(CCMs)의 시멘트 혼합재로서 적용 가능성 분석을 위해 탈황석고와 탄산화물의 미세구조 및 기초물성 분석을 실시하였다. 탈황석고의 경우 CaO 및 CaSO4가, 탄산화물의 경우 CaSO4, CaCO3, Ca(OH)2 및 CaSO4·H2O 결정상이 주 결정상으로 나타났으며 입도분석 결과 두 재료의 평균 입자 크기의 차이는 약 7 ㎛로 나타났다. 또한 탄산화물은 폐기물공정시험기준에 따른 중금속 용출시험 결과 주요 중금속이 불검출되었으며 열중량 분석 결과 탈황석고에 비해 CO2 분해가 2배 이상 나타난 것으로 보아 설비 운전 조건 최적화를 통해 건설 소재 원료로 활용 가능할 것이라 판단된다. 탈황석고와 탄산화물의 함량별 강도 거동 측정 결과 탄산화물 혼입 모르타르의 장기강도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났으며 이는 탄산화물에 존재하는 CaCO3의 충전제 효과 때문인 것으로 나타났다.

시효와 열순환 처리가 수복용 복합레진의 인장강도에 미치는 영향 (An Effect of Aging and Thermocycling on the Tensile Strength of Restorative Composite Resins)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate effect of aging and thermocycling on the tensile strength of restorative composite resins. Eight commercially available light-cured restorative composites (Heliomolar: HM, Palfique Estelite: PE, Spectrum: ST, UniFil-F: UF, Z100: ZH, Clearfil AP-X: CA, P60: PS, and Palfique Toughwell: PT) were selected as experimental materials. Rectangular-shaped tensile test specimens were fabricated in a teflon mold giving 5 mm in gauge length and 2 mm in thickness. All samples were stored in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 100 days. Every 10 days, specimens were thermocycled for 1,000 cycles with 15 seconds of dwelling time in each $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$ water baths. Tensile testing was carried out at a crosshead speed of 0.5 mm/min and fracture surfaces were observed with a scanning electron microscope. The results obtained were summarized as follows; 1. The strength degradation of thermocycled group was severer than that of the aged group (P<0.01). 2. The tensile strength of the CA and ST groups were significantly higher than that of other groups after thermocycling treatment (P<0.05). 3. Fracture surfaces showed that the composite resin failure developed along the matrix and the filler/resin interface region.
