재하속도에 따른 압밀특성에 관한 실험적 고찰 (An Experimental Study on the Consolidation Characteristics with Loading Rate)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish a proper criterion for the constant rate of loading consolidation(CRLC) test which is a kind of the continuous loading consolidation(CLC) and widely used as alternative methods to the incremental loading consolidation(ILC)test. With those results, the preconsolidation pressure estimated by the CRLC test turned out to be comparatively larger than that of the ILC test, and it is increased in proportion to the applied loading rates. However, the compression index in the CRLC test is less influenced on by the loading rates. The coefficient of consolidation and permeability in the CRLC test are dependent on excess pore pressure ratio mainly. In other words, if the pore pressure ratios are too low, the coefficient of consolidation and permeability become smaller than those of the ILC test. On the other hand, if the excess pore pressure ratios are too high, the coefficient of consolidation and permeability become so larger than those of the ILC test. Therefore, loading rates should be carefully determined to generate proper excess pore pressure ratio inside the soil specimen. From this study, good results are obtained from the CRLC test if the excess pore pressure ratios were in the range of 2.5 to 6.0 %, performed with loading rates between 0.0015 and 0.005 $kgf/cm^2/min$.

Methane Production Potential of Food Waste and Food Waste Mixture with Swine Manure in Anaerobic Digestion

  • Purpose: Methane production potential in aerobic digestion was assessed according to feed to inoculum (F/I) ratio for food waste only, and mixing ratio of two materials for food waste and swine manure to give a basic data for the design of anaerobic digestion system. Methods: Anaerbic digestion test was performed using a lab scale batch reactor at $35^{\circ}C$ for six different feed to inoculum (F/I) ratios (0.50, 0.72, 1.14, 1.50, 2.14 and 3.41), three food waste to swine manure ratios (100:0, 60:40 and 40:60) with two different loading concentrations (10g VS/L and 30g VS/L). Results: For food waste only, the highest biogas yield of 1008 mL/gVS was obtained at 0.50 of F/I. For the co-digestion of food waste and swine manure mixture, the highest biogas yield of 1148 mL/gVS was obtained at a mixing ratio of 40:60 with loading concentration of 10g VS/L. Conclusions: F/I ratio for the food waste only, mixing ratio of food waste and swine manure, and co-substrate loading rate affected the biogas production rate. For the low loading rate, there was not so much difference according to the mixing ratio of food waste and swine manure, but for the high loading rate higher biogas yield was acquired for the co-digestion of food waste and swine manure than for the food waste alone (mixing ratio, 100:0).

  • This study was performed FEM analysis of RC beams strengthened with CPS, in order to verify the effect strengthened of the loading situation. By load-deflection curve, It was not different that max capacity of RF2-L0 strengthened with CFS on the sound and RF2-L60 strengthened with on the 60% loading situation of service load. When RC beam was shortly strengthened with CFS, bond element of beam on the end was ripped off. Because stress was concentrated on bond element of beam on the end.

  • Single stage water-gas shift reaction has been carried out at a gas hourly space velocity of $150,494h^{-1}$ over $Cu-Ce_{0.8}Zr_{0.2}O_2$ catalysts prepared by a co-precipitation method. Cu loading was optimized to obtain highly active co-precipitated $Cu-Ce_{0.8}Zr_{0.2}O_2$ catalysts for single stage water-gas shift reaction. 80 wt.% $Cu-Ce_{0.8}Zr_{0.2}O_2$ exhibited the excellent catalytic performance as well as 100% $CO_2$ selectivity (CO conversion = 27% at $240^{\circ}C$ for 50 h). The high activity and stability of 80 wt.% $Cu-Ce_{0.8}Zr_{0.2}O_2$ are correlated to low activation energy and large amount of surface Cu atoms.

MEA 수용액으로부터 PDMS-PE 복합막 접촉기를 이용한 이산화탄소 감압탈거 (Vacuum Stripping of $CO_2$ from Aqueous MEA Solutions Using PDMS-PE Composite Membrane Contactor)

  • 본 연구에서는 석탄 화력발전소의 연소 후 $CO_2$ 회수 기술인 알칸올 아민 수용액을 이용한 아민흡수법에서 전체 운전비의 80% 가량을 차지하는 탈거에너지의 저감을 위해 새로운 탈거기술인 분리막을 이용한 감압탈거 기술을 제시하고자 한다. 막의 소재로는 소수성막인 PE (polyethylene)를 지지체로 하고 $5{\mu}m$ 두께의 PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane)를 코팅한 복합막을 제조하여 적용하였으며, 흡수액으로 MEA (monoethanolamine) 30 wt% 수용액을 사용하였다. 온도의 변화에 따른 영향을 알아보기 위하여 흡수액 온도를 $25{\sim}80^{\circ}C$로 변화시켜 이산화탄소의 탈거특성을 살펴보았으며, 흡수용액의 $CO_2$ 함량($CO_2$ loading)에 따른 영향을 고찰하기 위하여 $CO_2$ 함량을 변화시켰다. 또한 감압탈거 시 탈거측 압력을 60~360 mmHg(abs.)로 변화시켜 진공도에 따른 탈거특성을 연구하였다. 아민수용액의 온도가 증가할수록, 이산화탄소 부하량이 증가할수록 이산화탄소의 탈거량은 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있으며, 감압이 감소함에 따라 이산화탄소의 탈거량 역시 증가하고 있는 것을 확인하였다. 막의 안정성 실험 결과 PTFE 단일막에 비하여 PDMS-PE 복합막의 경우 감압탈거 막공정에 적용하기 안정한 막이라고 판단된다.

Highly Sensitive and Selective Gas Sensors Using Catalyst-Loaded SnO2 Nanowires

  • Ag- and Pd-loaded $SnO_2$ nanowire network sensors were prepared by the growth of $SnO_2$ nanowires via thermal evaporation, the coating of slurry containing $SnO_2$ nanowires, and dropping of a droplet containing Ag or Pd nanoparticles, and subsequent heat treatment. All the pristine, Pd-loaded and Ag-loaded $SnO_2$ nanowire networks showed the selective detection of $C_2H_5OH$ with low cross-responses to CO, $H_2$, $C_3H_8$, and $NH_3$. However, the relative gas responses and gas selectivity depended closely on the catalyst loading. The loading of Pd enhanced the responses($R_a/R_g$: $R_a$: resistance in air, $R_g$: resistance in gas) to CO and $H_2$ significantly, while it slightly deteriorated the response to $C_2H_5OH$. In contrast, a 3.1-fold enhancement was observed in the response to 100 ppm $C_2H_5OH$ by loading of Ag onto $SnO_2$ nanowire networks. The role of Ag catalysts in the highly sensitive and selective detection of $C_2H_5OH$ is discussed.

압축 플랜지에 80MPa급 고강도 콘크리트가 합성된 I형 강거더의 휨거동 특성 (Characteristics of Flexural Behavior of Composite Section Consisting of Steel Girder with 80MPa High Strength Concrete on Compressive Flange)

  • I형 강거더의 압축부에 SUPER(Sustainable Ultra performing, Pioneering, Economic, Remarkable) Concrete가 합성된 거더의 휨거동 특성을 평가하기 위해 정적재하시험을 수행하였다. 실험체는 총길이 25m, 형고 786mm이고 압축부 콘크리트(이하 케이싱) 강도는 80MPa이며 4점 재하로 하중 2,010kN까지 가력하여 휨거동을 분석하였다. 실험 결과 사용 하중의 2.7배에서 인장 플랜지가 항복하였고 연성비는 1.481였다. 실험 종료까지 케이싱 균열은 확인되지 않았으며 단면 간 상대변위량은 미미한 수준임을 확인하였다.

CaCO3 첨가법에 따른 재생 ONP의 특성변화 (Differences in Characteristics of Recycled ONP for CaCO3 Adding Techniques)

  • In order to improve the refresh rate of old newspaper(ONP), PCC shape-controlling experiments were carried out. The effect of a PCC polymorph on improving the quality of old newspaper was studied for a transformation from waste paper to eco-friendly paper. The synthesis of PCC consists of an in-situ process and a loading process to enhance the refresh rate of old newspaper. The characteristics between the in-situ process and the loading process could be analysed by SEM analyses of coated fiber surfaces. The retention rate ranges from 65 to 67% after the application of the in-situ process, and that after the loading process ranges from 55 to 58%. The retention rates thus show a difference of about 7-10%. In addition, the whiteness and ERIC characteristics of the in-situ process gave more efficient results than those of the loading process.

나노기공성 Na2CO3/Al2O3 흡착제를 이용한 합성가스(CO2, H2) 내 CO2 제거 (Removal of CO2 from Syngas(CO2 and H2) Using Nanoporous Na2CO3/Al2O3 Adsorbents)

  • 폐기물가스화시 발생하는 탄화수소계 가스를 촉매개질하면 $CO_2$$H_2$로 전환되는데, 이때 잔류 $CO_2$를 선택적으로 흡착/제거하여 순수한 $H_2$를 생산하고자 하였다. $CO_2$ 제거를 위한 흡착제의 성능을 최적화하기 위해 $Na_2CO_3$를 나노기공성 알루미나에 담지시켰으며, 상용 알루미나(데구사)와의 성능을 비교하였다. 나노기공성 흡착제의 경우 상용화알루미나로 제조한 흡착제보다 균일한 기공 및 넓은 표면적을 가짐을 확인하였다. $Na_2CO_3$ 함량증가에 따라 $CO_2$ 흡착량은 증가하여, $Na_2CO_3$ 단위질량당 최대흡착량은 $20^{\circ}C$에서 20 wt%일 때 얻을 수 있었다. 담지량이 20 wt% 이상일 때는 잔류 $Na_2CO_3$가 알루미나 표면에 도포됨에 따라 기공부피가 감소하였다. 또한 흡착이 완료된 흡착제는 열처리를 통한 재생이 가능하였다.
