Co-Ti으로 치환한 Ba-페라이트 $(BaFe_{12-2x}Co_xTi_xO_{19})$ 의 결정학적 및 자기적 특성 연구 (Crystallographic and Magnetic Properties of Co-Ti Dopped Ba-Ferrite, $BaFe_{12-2x}Co_xTi_xO_{19}$)

  • Ba-페라이트 BaF $e_{12}$ $O_{19}$에서 Fe 이온의 미량을 Co와 Ti 이온으로 치환시킨 시료인 BaF $e_{12-2x}$ $Co_{x}$ $Ti_{x}$ $O_{19}$(0.0$\leq$x$\leq$1.0)을 제조하여 Co와 Ti이온의 치환에 따른 결정학적 및 자기적 특성의 변화를 밝히기 위하여 x-선 회절기, Mossbauer분광기, 진동자력계 등을 이용한 연구를 하였다. 모든 조성비 범위에서 결정 구조는 magnetoplumbite 구조임을 알 수 있었으며, Co-Ti의 치환량이 증가함에 따라 격자상수 a는 거의 일정하였고 c는 증가하였다. BaF $e_{12-2x}$ $Co_{x}$ $Ti_{x}$ $O_{19}$ 시료에서 치환량이 증가함에 따라 포화자화 값은 약 60 emu/g 정도로 거의 변하지 않으나, 보자력은 x = 0.0과 0.2사이에서 매우 급격히 2297 kOe에서 220 kOe로 지수함수적으로 감소하고 그 이상의 조성비에서는 서서히 선형적으로 감소함을 알아냈다. 상온에서 Mossbauer spectra 분석 결과 Co-Ti은 l2k, 4 $f_{vi}$ 와 2b 자리를 선호함을 알 수 있었다. 또 Co-Ti리 치환량이 증가함에 따라 R 블럭의 c축 크기는 작아지고, 반대로 5 블럭의 c축 크기는 커짐을 알아냈다. 알아냈다.

$BaWO_4$-$Mg_2$$SiO_4$세라믹스의 $CaTiO_3$첨가에 따른 고주파 유전특성 (Effect of $CaTiO_3$Additions on Microwave Dielectric Properties in $BaWO_4$-$Mg_2$$SiO_4$Ceramics)

  • 10 이하의 저유전율을 갖는 (1-x)BaWO$_4$-xMg$_2$SiO$_4$(x=0.1~0.9) 세라믹스의 미세구조와 고주파 유전특성을 조사하였다. (1-x)BaWO$_4$-xMg$_2$SiO$_4$(x=0.1~0.9) 세라믹스는 정방정(tetragonal) 구조를 가진다. 0.1BaWO$_4$-0.9Mg$_2$SiO$_4$세라믹스는 BaWO$_4$$Mg_2$SiO$_4$의 상들이 공존하는 혼합상을 보였으며, $Mg_2$SiO$_4$가 이차사으로 형성된 것이 관찰되었다. 120$0^{\circ}C$~140$0^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 동안 소결된 (1-x)BaWO$_4$-xMg$_2$SiO$_4$(x=0.1~0.9) 세라믹스는 $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=6.37~8.21, Q.f=15000~99422 그리고 $ au$$_{f}$=73.9~48.9 ppm/$^{\circ}C$의 고주파 유전특성을 가졌다. $\tau$$_{f}$를 보정하기 위해, CaTiO$_3$(1,5 wt%)가 (1-x)BaWO$_4$-xMg$_2$SiO$_4$(x$\geq$0.9) 세라믹스에 첨가되었다. 135$0^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 동안 소결된 0.1BaWO$_4$-0.9Mg$_2$SiO$_4$+CaTiO$_3$(5 wt%) 세라믹스는 $\varepsilon$$_{r}$=7.3, Q.f=30532 그리고 $\tau$$_{f}$=-30 ppm/$^{\circ}C$의 고주파 유전특성을 얻었다. 얻었다.

  • To obtain a single phase of Ba2Ti9O20 at lower temperature than previious other researches. We investigated the effect of Zr substitution for predetermined portions of Ti in Ba2Ti9O20. In this study, the four compounds(x=0, 0.028, 0.048, 0.068) of Ba2(Ti1-xZrx)9O20 were prepared by coprecipitation reaction of BaCl2, TiCl4 and ZrOCl2 with (NH4)2CO3 and NH4OH as the coprecipitating agents and pH regulators, in queous solution. Owing to 4.8 mol% addition, the single phase of Ba2Ti9O20 showing high Q was obtained at 115$0^{\circ}C$ which is lower by 25$0^{\circ}C$ than the temperature in case of mechanical mixtures of BaCO3 and TiO2.

  • The $0.98MgTiO_3-0.02BaTiO_3$ ceramics were prepared by the conventional mixed oxide method. The structural properties were investigated with sintering temperature and composition ratio by XRD, SEM and EDS. According to the X-ray diffraction patterns of the $0.98MgTiO_3-0.02BaTiO_3$ ceramics, the hexagonal $BaMg_6Ti_6O_{19}$ and ilmenite $MgTiO_3$ structures were coexisted. The dielectric constant$({\varepsilin}_r)$ and quality factor$(Q{\times}f_r)$ were decreased with increasing the sintering temperature in the range of $1275^{\circ}C{\sim}1350^{\circ}C$. In the case of the $0.98MgTiO_3-0.02BaTiO_3$ ceramics sintered at $1275^{\circ}C$, dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 20.27, 76,845, $-46.6ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively.

  • E $r_2$ $O_3$-MgO 복합 첨가가 BaTi $O_3$계 내환원성 X7R 재질의 유전특성에 미치는 영향에 대하여 환원성 분위기에서 연구하였다. (B $a_{1-x}$ E $r_{x}$)( $Ti_{1-y}$M $g_{y}$ ) $O_3$첨가계에서 1.0 mol% 이상 MgO의 복합첨가로 E $r_{Ba}$ 도너 불순물과 $Mg_{Ti}$ 억셉터 불순물이 전기적으로 보상되어, 환원성분위기 소결 후에도 $10^{10}$Ωcm 이상의 높은 절연저항을 나타내었다. E $r_2$ $O_3$가 첨가된 시편에서 MgO가 2.0 mol% 이상 첨가될 경우, 유전율의 온도안정성이 향상되어 X7R 규격을 만족시켰으며 1.0$mu extrm{m}$ 이하의 작고 균일한 입자가 관찰되었다. 한편, E $r_2$ $O_3$의 첨가량이 3.0 mol%로 증가함에 따라 유전율의 온도안정성이 향상되었으나 상대적으로 상온 유전상수값이 현저히 감소하였다.였다.다.

  • When $Y_2O_3$ was added to Ti-excess $BaTiO_3$ ((Ba+Y)/Ti =1), the area occupied by $Y^{3+}$ ion was confirmed by its microstructure development, electrical conductivity behavior and lattice constant. Grain growth inhibition was observed when the content of donor dopant exceeded a critical value ($x{\approx}.0.01$) in $BaTiO_3+x(0.5Y_2O_3+TiO_2)$ system. A donor-doped behavior was observed at various Y contents ($0.2\sim3.0$ mol% Y) when $Y_2O_3$ was added to $TiO_2$-excess $BaTiO_3$. As Y content was increased, (002) and (200) peaks shifted to higher angles and the lattice constant (a and c axis) decreased gradually.

  • Ternary compound ceramics, (1-y-x) BaTiO$_3$-y SrTiO$_3$-x MgTiO$_3$(0.00 x 0.20), were fabricated by the conventional ceramic process. The structural and dielectric properties of specimens were investigated while varying the composition and sintering temperature(1,200~1,45$0^{\circ}C$) in order to obtain the optimum condition of capacitor. As is well known, Curie temperature(T$_{c}$) of high dielectric-based ceramic(BaTiO$_3$) was shifted and temperature of capacitance was decreased in according to increase of solid solution with (Sr, Mg)TiO$_3$. As a result, a suitable condition of compound rate for capacitor was obtained such as the BSM-11(0.8BaTiO$_3$-0.1SrTiO$_3$-0.1MgTiO$_3$), and sintering temperature was sintered at 1,25$0^{\circ}C$ for two hours. In this case, dielectric constant<1,300, dielectric loss(tan$\delta$)<0.03, and the variation rate of capacitance had less than 3% in the range -10~7$0^{\circ}C$.>.

  • (Ba/sub 1-x/Sr/sub x/)TiO₃ (BST, 0.4< x <0.65) single crystals were successfully grown by the TSSG (Top-Seeded Solution Growth) method, using a commercial [100] SrTiO₃ or as-grown [100] BST single crystals as seed crystals. To obtain the BST single crystals with various compositions x, the Ba/sr molar ratios in the solutions were systematically controlled while the Ti ion content among all cations was fixed at 67 mol%. A linear regression curve between their x values and the molar ratios of Sr/(Ba + Sr) in the solutions could be obtained, which in turn could used to select the initial composition to produce BST crystal with an aimed x value. In addition, the isothermal growth was found more effective for obtaining a compositional uniformity than a slow cooling process.

  • The crystal structures and the bonding characteristics in $(Ba_xPb_{1-x})TiO_3$ have been investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis and infrared spectrophotometry. As $Ba^{2+}$ ion in $BaTiO_3$ were substituted by $Pb^{2+}$ ion, the structures were changed to orthorhombic from tetragonal, and also the covalent character in Ti-O bond increased, and then the dielectric constants decreased gradually. In the mixed oxide containing $Pb^{2+}$ ion more than 50%, the change-transfer energy of titanium ion increased.

  • The microwave dielectric properties of X BaO-0.15($Nd_{0.87}Bi_{0.13})_2O_3-(0.85-X)TiO_2 (X=0.14~0.17) and 0.16BaO-0.15(Bi_xNd_{1-x})_2O_3-0.69TiO_2$ (X=0.12~0.15) ceramics sintered at 1320~$1380^{\circ}C$ were investigated. The microwave dielectric properties of X BaO-0.15(Nd_{0.87}Bi_{0.13})_2O_3-(0.85-X)TiO_2$ (X=0.14~0.17) can be controlled effectively by adjusting X content : with increasing X from 0.14 to 0.17 both dielectric constant and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency decreased from 94.6 to 86 and from 22 ppm/^${\circ}C to -7 ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively, while quality factor increased from 1300 to 1920 (at 4GHz). The microwave dielectric properties of 0.16BaO-0.15(Bi_x/Nd_{1-x2}O_3 -0.69TiO_2$ (X=0.12~0.15) can be controlled effectively by adjusting X content : with increasing X from 0.12 to 0.15 both quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency decreased from 1920 to 1430 and from 9 ppm/^${\circ}C to -10 ppm/^{\circ}C$, respectively, while dielectric constant increased from 87.5 to 92.6.
