Catalystic effect of Sludge on $NO_x$ removal in Packed bed reactor (Packed bed형 반응기에서 $NO_x$ 제거에 미치는 슬러지의 촉매효과)

  • In this experiment, an attempt to use the sludge pellets as catalyst for NO removal from simulated gas is experimentally investigated by using $BaTiO_3$-sludge packed-bed reactor of plate-plate geometry. An experimental investigation has been conducted for NO concentration of 50[ppm] balanced with air, a gas flow rate of 5[1/min]. $BaTiO_3$ pellets are filled at upstream of reactor for corona discharge and sludge pellets are put at downstream of reactor for catalystic effect. The volume rate of sludge pellets to $BaTiO_3$ pellets is 50[%] and AC voltage to dischare the gases was supplied. In the result, when sludge pellets is seperated to $BaTiO_3$ by other reactor and AC voltage is supplied to $BaTiO_3$ and sludge pellets NO, $NO_2$ removal rate is higher. When gas temperature increase from room temperature to 100[$^{\circ}C$], NO removal is decreased while $NO_2$ concentration is independent on gas temperature. This result suggest that the removal mechanism of active oxyzen species and $NO_2$ in sludge is not absorption, but chemical reaction. Temperature of heating treatment is on sludge pellets increased, $NO_x$ removal rate is decrease. It is thought that organic compound is removed by heating treatment.

Improvement of the Signal-to-Noise Ratio of Photorefractive Joint Transform Correlator using Characteristics of $BaTiO_3$ ($BaTiO_3$의 특성을 이용한 광굴절 결합 변환 상관기의 신호 대 잡음비 개선)

  • In the conventional photorefractive joint transform correlator(PRJTC), the intensity ration of input signal-to-pump beam should be large enough to saturate two-beam coupling transfer function to obtain a desired correlation result. As a result, the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of correlation result is decreased in a noisy input image. In this paper, we propose the improved method for increasing the SNR of the PRJTC by using the characteristics of BaTiO$_3$. We stop the energy transfer saturating by low intensity ratio of input beam and realize a short length of effective interaction in BaTiO$_3$ by making large incident angle of the signal beam. So the gain in high frequency area is decreased and the gain in low frequency area comes up to the saturation gain of the beam coupling transfer function. Therefore the SNR is improved in noisy input image and the PRJTC can be easily realized by low intensity ratio of input beam.

  • The effects of $Li_2CO_3$ addition on the sintering behavior of $Ba_{0.5}Sr_{0.5}TiO_3$ ceramic have been investigated. The amount of $Li_2CO_3$ was varied from 1 wt% to 5 wt%. The crystalline and dielectric properties were investigated through X-ray diffraction and frequency dependent permittivity, respectively.

  • 최근 LSI speed의 고속화에 따라, SSN (Simultaneous Switching Noise)이 매우 큰 문제가 되고 있다. 이에 PDN에 대한 많은 해결책들이 제시되고 있으나 가장 저비용 고효율을 지향할 수 있는 방법이 현재 사용되고 있는 유기기판에 Capacitor를 내장하여 로 사용하는 방법이다. Decoupling capacitor를 두께가 밟은 유기기판에 구현하기 위해서는 유전율이 큰 물질을 사용하는 것이 좋은데 본 연구에서는 $BaTiO_3$를 epoxy 에 혼합하여 10um 두께의 필름으로 제작한 후 유기기판 제조 공정에 사용하여 유기기판을 구현하였다. 이렇게 구현된 capacitor 내장 유기기판을 2 stub의 간단한 회로를 구현하여 유전율 등을 측정하였으며, 고주파 전산모사를 통하여 capacitor의 용량 변화에 따른 고주파 특성의 변화를 연구하였다.

Densification and Dielectric Properties of Yb2O3 doped (Ba1Sr1Ca)TiO3 Thick Films (Yb2O3가 첨가된 (Ba1Sr1Ca)TiO3후막의 치밀화와 유전특성)

  • [ $(Ba_{0.57}Sr_{0.33}Ca_{0.10})TiO_3$ ] (BSCT) powders, prepared by sol-gel method, were mixed with organic vehicle and the BSCT thick films were fabricated by the screen printing method. The structural and dielectric properties were investigated as a function of the $Yb_2O_3$ doping contents. As a result of the TG-DTA, exothermic peak was observed at around $670^{\circ}C$ due to the formation of the polycrystalline perovskite phase. All BSCT thick films showed the typical XRD patterns of a cubic polycrystalline structure. The average thickness of all BSCT thick films was about $70{\mu}m$. The grain size of the BSCT thick film doped with 0.7 mol% $Yb_2O_3$ was approximately $6.2{\mu}m$. The Curie temperature and relative dielectric constant at room temperature decreased with increasing $Yb_2O_3$ amount. Relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss of the specimen doped with 0.1 mol% $Yb_2O_3$ were 4637 and 19 % at Curie temperature, respectively.

$Ar/O_2$가스비에 따른 (Ba,Sr)$TiO_3$ 박막의 유전특성에 관한 연구

  • 본 논문에서는 RF Magnetron Sputtering 방법으로 Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 박막을 Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si 기판위에 증착하였다. Ar과 O2의 가스비는 90:10부터 50:50까지 O2의 함유비율을 10씩 증가시켰으며, 모든 조건에서 증착온도는 실온으로 설정하였다. Ba0.5Sr0.5TiO3 박막의 증착후 각 가스비에 따른 동일한 샘플에 대해 RTA(Rapid Thermal Anneal) 장비를 이용하여 $600^{\circ}C$에서 열처리는 하여 열처리 효과에 대한 특성도 조사하였다. 최종적으로 제작한 BST 커패시터는 Pt/BST/Pt 구조를 갖는 MIM(Metal-Insulator-Metal) 구조의 커패시터였으며 상.하부 전극은 전기적 특성이 우수한 Pt를 사용하였다. 제작된 BST 커패시터를 대해 유전 특성을 조사하기 위해 C-V 측정을 한 결과 산소 함유량이 증가함에 따라 유전율의 증가를 보여주었으며, 제작된 샘플 중 산소 함유량이 30인 샘플은 300이상의 우수한 유전율을 나타내었다. 또한 누설 전류특성에서는 모든 샘플에 대해 1.0V의 인가전압에서 1.0$\times$106A/cm2 이하의 누설 전류 밀도 값을 가져 전기적으로도 안정된 커패시터 구조임을 확인하였다. 또한 막의 증착상태와 미세구조관찰을 위해 SEM 측정을 하였고 구성성분 결정 구조를 알기 위해 XRD 측정도 시행하였다. 결과적으로 본 논문에서 제작된 커패시터 중 Sr/O의 비율이 70:30인 샘플이 가장 우수한 유전특성을 나타내었고, 이 샘플의 유전특성과 누설 전류 특성은 차세대 메모리인 1GigaByte급 DRAM에 적용 가능한 조건들을 만족시켰다.

  • Dielectric resonators with BT (BaTiO3), TiO2, and ZrO2 powders without using the rare earth oxide powders were fabricated for the target relative permittivity of between 30 and 40 and the filter characteristics of metal cavity filter with the dielectric resonators inside were evaluated. Powder characteristics such as particle size distributions and specific surface areas were measured for the composing raw powders to evaluate the powder states. After measuring and comparing the relative permittivity and dielectric losses of the dielectrics of three different compositions, the specific composition was determined (BT:TiO2:ZrO2=1:4:1 in mole) and the dielectric resonators were fabricated with that composition, which shows relative permittivity of around 35. The powder characteristics of mixed powders with the determined composition were also evaluated to investigate any agglomerates possibly formed in the process of powder mixing. Dielectric resonators were fabricated by the powder compaction (compaction pressure: 31 MPa) and firing method. The peak firing temperature was 1,300℃ and the holding time at the peak temperature was 3 hours. After firing, cylindrical resonators with one end closed were mechanically machined to eliminate any size differences in dielectric resonator which can be caused by the shrinkage difference during each firing process of resonator fabrication. After measuring the resonator characteristic in the frequency range from 3.6 GHz to 3.8 GHz by changing the height of dielectric resonator, the height of the resonator was determined to be 11.7 mm. Finally, filter characteristics of TM (Transverse Magnetic) mode metal cavity filters with the dielectric inside were measured and evaluated. The metal cavity filters with the dielectric resonators showed the insertion losses of below 1 dB with the band widths of 200 MHz and over 20 dB return losses from 3.6 GHz to 3.8 GHz, whose filter characteristics well satisfied the requirements of the band pass filters for the base stations and it was proved that the dielectrics using the proposed composition could be used as dielectric resonator.

Microwave Dielectric Properties of the ($Ba_{1-x}Sr_{x}$)O-$Sm_2O_3$-$TiO_2$ Ceramics. (($Ba_{1-x}Sr_{x}$)O-$Sm_2O_3$-$TiO_2$세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전특성)

  • 0.15($Ba_{1-x}Sr_{x}$)O-$0.15Sm_2O_3$-$0.7TiO_2$(x=0∼9[m/o]ceramics were fabricated by mixed-oxide method. Microwave dielectric properties were investigated with sintering conditions aid Sr addictive. In the specimen with x=0[m/o] sintered at 1350∼1470[$^{\circ}C$], dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were 70∼74, 2800∼3300(at 3[GHz]), -1.33∼+l.66[ppm/$^{\circ}C$, respectively. Increasing the Sr additive from 0 to 5[m/o], dielectric constant and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were increased and quality factor was decreased. In the specimen with x=r[m/o] sintered at 1375[$^{\circ}C$], 6[hr], dielectric constant, quality factor and temperature coefficient resonant frequency were 75.62, 2785(at 3[GHz]), +8.39[ppm/$^{\circ}C$], respectively.

Effect of Impurity Addition on the Microwave Dielectric Properties of $(Ba_{0.93}Sr_{0.07}O)-0.5Sm_2O_3-4.5TiO_2$ Ceramics ($(Ba_{0.93}Sr_{0.07}O)-0.5Sm_2O_3-4.5TiO_2$계 세라믹스의 불순물 첨가에 따른 마이크로파 유전특성)

  • Dielectric ceramics with nominal composition of $(Ba_{0.93}Sr_{0.07}O)-0.5Sm_2O_3-4.5TiO_2$ was prepared using the conventional mixed oxide process-derived powder. Effect of $SiO_2$, $MnO_2$ and $Al_2O_3$ impurity addition on the microwave properties was examined in some detail. Measured relative permittivity $(\varepsilon_r)$ values were in the range of 53 to 59 and showed little dependence on impurity addition. In contrast, quality factor $(Q{\cdot}f)$ and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency $(\tau_f)$ values were greatly influenced by the type and the amount of impurities. It was found that 0.1~0.2wt% addition of $Al_2O_3$ was most effective for improving the properties, where ${\varepsilon}_r$, $Q{\cdot}f$ and $\tau_f$ values were 57.7, 10000, and +7ppm/$^{\circ}C$, respectively.

Effect of dielectrics on NOx removal of Metal particle-$Al_2O_3$ hybrid type reactor (금속파티클-$Al_2O_3$ hybrid 반응기의 NOx 제거에 미치는 유전체 영향)

  • In this paper, we made different types of non-thermal plasma reactors such as Metal-particle reactor with $Al_2O_3$ to measure NOx removal characteristic and the dielectric effect for NOx removal. NOx removal rate is not so good when we use just dielectric of $Al_2O_3$ at the Metal-particle reactor, also we just put sludge pellets(100%) without Metal-particle reactor with $Al_2O_3$ and dielectric such as $TiO_2$, $BaTiO_3$ to measure the effect of sludge for NOx removal so that NOx removal rate is almost the same. However NOx removal rate is more than 90% in case of the reactor of composition shape used both dielectric of $Al_2O_3$ and sludge pellets at the same time. In case of the shape of plasma reactor with dielectric, the Metal-particle reactor with $Al_2O_3$, and the metal-particle reactor with both $Al_2O_3$ and dielectric such as $TiO_2$, $BaTiO_3$ at the same time, they are almost the same effect for NOx removal, so we made MNPR(Metal-particle Non-thermal Plasma Reactor with $Al_2O_3$) to reduce these kinds of demerits. Finally, we think MNPR should be much better than other reactors for NOx removal.
