5-methyl-4-imidazolecarboxylic Acid Ester 연속합성의 반응속도론 및 특성 연구 (A Study on Kinetic Model for the Formation of 5-methyl-4-imidazolecarboxylic Acid Ester)

  • Ethylacetoacetate로부터 2단계의 연속합성을 통하여 생성되는 5-methyl-4-imidazolecarboxylic acid ester의 합성반응 속도론과 중간 생성물인 ${\alpha}$, {\beta}$-dioxobutyric acid(일명 diketone)의 반응 안정성을 연구하였다. 반응속도 결정단계는 ${\alpha}$-acetyl-${\alpha}$-hydroxy iminoacetic acid(oxime)로부터 diketone으로 진행되는 과정으로서 반응속도에 영향을 미치는 주된 인자로는 Oxime, HCl의 농도와 반응온도임을 확인하였고 HCl 농도 4.6~8.0M 반응온도 $8.5{\sim}20^{\circ}C$의 변화에 따른 diketone의 최대 반응수율 변화는 50~74%이었다. Power-law 수식모델 및 회분식 반응기 empirical data로부터 diketone 생성반응 속도식을 구하였으며 이 식이 실험 Data와 잘 일치하고 있음을 보였다. 본 연구는 5-methyl-4-imidazolecarboxylic acid ester 연속반응 공정개발의 기초단계로서 반응속도론 연구를 통하여 합성 반응의 특성을 파악하는데 중요한 의의를 두고 있다.

Preparation and Luminescent Properties of a Novel Carbazole Functionalized Bis-β-diketone Ligand and Corresponding Eu(III) and Tb(III) Complexes

  • A novel carbazole functionalized bis-$\beta$-diketone type organic ligand, 1,1′-(2,6-bispyridyl)bis-3-(9-ethylcarbazole- 3-yl)-1,3-propanedione ($H_2L$) and its corresponding lanthanide complexes $Eu_2(L)_3\;and\;Tb_2(L)_3$ were successfully prepared. The ligand and complexes were characterized in detail based on FT-IR spectra, $^1H$ NMR and elemental analysis. The observed UV-Vis absorption and photoluminescence properties of the complexes were investigated, it shows that the Eu(III) and Tb(III) ions can be sensitized efficiently by the ligand ($H_2L$) to some extent, in particular, the complex $Tb_2(L)_3$ exhibits a more excellent luminescence property than the Eu(III) complex. Meanwhile, the introduction of the carbazole moiety can enlarge the $\Pi$-conjugated system of the ligand and enhance the luminescent intensity of the complexes. The results show that the complexes would be used as excellent luminescent materials.

  • Photoaddition reactions between 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds and silyl enol ethers in acetonitrile and benzene were explored. Irradiation of acetonitrile or benzene solutions containing 1,2-diketone, acenaphthalquinone, phenanthrene-quinone and silyl enol ethers is observed to promote the production of 1,4-dioxenes, oxetanes, and ${\beta}$-hydroxyketone by the [4+2]-cycloadditon, Paterno-Buchi processes, and SET promoted Claisen-type condensation. Among these competitive pathways leading to the generation of each types of products, SET promoted 1,4-dioxene and ${\beta}$-hydroxyketone formation are more favored regardless of solvent polarity.

The Soft Material Obtained from an Europium (III)-Containing Ionic Liquid

  • The addition of organic ligand (${\beta}$-diketone or heterocyclic compound) to the europium (III)-containing ionic liquid resulted in bright luminescent soft materials with the molar ratio of europium/ionic liquid (IL)/ligand being 1:3:1 that exhibit bright red light under UV lamp. The luminescent properties such as emission features and lifetime of $^5D_0$ $Eu^{3+}$ excited level are dependent on the organic ligands. The materials were characterized by FT-IR and luminescence spectroscopy. The data shows that at least parts of the ILs (carboxylic acid) are replaced with ${\beta}$-diketone ligand rather than the formation of europium complex with the molar ratio of $Eu^{3+}$:IL: ligand being 1:3:1, while no ILs could be replaced by the heterocyclic ligand such as Bpy and Phen.

  • The retention mechanism of Ni(II)-${\alpha}$-isonitroso-${\beta}$-diketone imine chelates in reversed-phase HPLC has been studied by examining the effect of temperature, mobile phase composition in acetonitrile-water mixture, and molecular structure on retention. The empirical retention equation was investigated to evaluate the properties of S (hydrophilic index). The value of the S index of the Ni(II) chelates decrease with the increasing column temperature and a linear relationship between S and log $k{_w}^{\prime}$ has been found. The results showed that the S index is influenced by the interaction between Ni(II) chelates and mobile phase. Molecular properties, van der Waals molar volume, polarizability and dipole moment, of the Ni(II) chelates were calculated by Cerius 2 program and the calculations were performed at Universal Force Field (UFF) model. The S value and log $k{_w}^{\prime}$ increase with decreasing the dipole moment of Ni(II) chelates.

  • In an attempt toward the synthesis of the difficulty accessible ginseng saponins the four dammarane glycosides identical to the natural $ginsenosides-Rh_2,$ - F2, compound K and chikusetsusaponin - LT8 have been prepared from betulafolienetriol(=dammar-24-ene-$3{\alpha},12{\beta}\;20(S)-triol).\;3-O-{\beta}-D-Glucopyranoside$ of 20(S) - protopanaxadiol $(=ginsenoside-Rh_2)$ have been obtained by the regio - and stereoselective glycosylation of the $12-O-acetyldammar-24-ene-3{\beta},\;12{\beta},$ 20(S)-triol. The 12-ketoderivative of 20(S)-protopanaxadiol has been used as aglycon in synthesis of chikusetsusaponin - LT8. Attempted regio - and stereoselective glycosylation of the less reactive tertiary C - 20 - hydroxyl group in order to synthesize the $20-O-{\beta}-D-glucopyranoside$ of 20(S)-protopanaxadiol(=compound K) using 3, 12 - di - O - acetyldammar - 24 - ene - $3{\beta},12{\beta},20(S)$-trial as aglycon was unsuccessful. Glycosylation of 3, 12 - diketone of betulafolienetriol followed by $NaBH_4$ reduction yielded the $20-O-{\beta}-D-glucopyranoside\;of\;dammar-24-ene-3{\beta},12{\alpha},$ 20(S)-triol, the $12{\alpha}-epimer$ of 20(S) - protopanaxadiol. Moreover, a number of semisynthetic ocotillol - type glucosides, analogs of natural pseudoginsenosides, have been prepared.

  • 1,8-Naphthalic anhydride reacts with aromatic momocarbo-xylic acids having ${\alpha}$-hydrogen atomes such as p-nitrophenylacetic acid, p-methoxylhenylacetic acid, ${\alpha}$-naphthylacetic acid and diphenylacetic acid in the presence of freshly fused sodium acetate as a catalyst to give 1,8-(${\alpha}$-nitrophenylmalonyl)-naphthalin, 1,8-diphenylmalonyl-naphthalin, respectively. The results of these experiments show that 1,8-naphthalic anhydride yields the beta diketone type condensation products.
