In this paper, the fuel transport characteristics during transient condition was studied by using a Fast Response Flame Ionization Detector(FRFID). The quantitative measurement method for the inducted fuel mass into cylinder is studied. The inducted fuel mass into the cylinder was estimated by using calculated air-fuel ratio by hydrocarbon concentration of cylinder and air flow model. In order to estimate the transportation of injected fuel from the intake port into cylinder, the wall wetting fuel model was used. The two coefficient $\alpha$,$\beta$) of the wall-wetting fuel model was determined from the measured fuel mass that was inducted into the cylinder at the first cycle after injection cut-off To reduce an air/fuel ratio fluctuation during rapid throttle opening, the appropriate fuel injection rate was obtain from the wall wetting model with empirical coefficients. Result of air/fuel ratio control, air/fuel excursion was reduced.

The dynamic design object of rotor system is to optimize the system in stability at the operating speed, unbalance response in the vicinity of the rotor critical speed, bearing weighting and system weighting. In conventional optimization method, designers have to set mathematical modeling, such as objective function, constraints and design parameters, strictly and quantitavely. But in actual design process, they do not treat all of these values strictly and some of them are somehow "fuzziness". So, considering boundary conditions of seal diameter, clearance, and length in a typical double suction centrifugal pump is fuzzy, this paper is considered fuzzy in constraints. Fuzzy method is used .alpha.-level cut method. Then, the optimum dimensions of seal according to values are obtained and vibration characteristics are investigated.estigated.

Microarray and proteomic expression patterns in response to cadmium exposure were analyzed in human lung epithelial cells. Among 35,000 genes analyzed by cDNA microarray, 228 genes were up-regulated and 99 genes were down-regulated, based on a fold change cut-off value of ${\geq}2$. Combining two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization-time-of-flight-mass spectrometry (MALDI-ToF-MS), 25 of 629 protein spots showed fold changes in expression ${\geq}2$ (17 up-regulated, 8 down-regulated). After comparing the cDNA microarray and proteomic analyses, only transglutaminase 2, translation elongation factor 1 alpha 1, and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase showed overlapping signals in the cDNA microarray and proteomic analyses, whereas the remaining differentially expressed proteins showed large discrepancies with respect to mRNA expression.

슬립캐스팅법으로 제조한 튜브형 $\alpha$-알루미나 담체 (평균기공크기 = $0.1 \mum$)에 졸-겔 침지코팅(dipcoating) 또는 가압코팅 (pressurized coating) 법에 의하여 극미세입자 $\gamma$-AlOOH, $TiO_2, SiO_2$, 및 aluminosilicate diphasic 졸을 코팅한 후 300 ~ 500$\circ$C 에서 열처리하여 세라믹 복합막을 제조하였다. 복합막 전체에 대한 균열유무는 $N_2$ 기체투과율의 평균압력에 대한 의존성으로부터 평가하였으며, 한외여과 (ultrafiltration)에의 응용성을 규명하기 위하여 막의 재질 및 제조조건에 따른 polyethylene glycol (PEG) 수용액의 분획분자량 변화를 측정하였다. 합성 세라믹 복합막의 분획분자량 측정 결과 $SiO_2$의 경우 2,000 정도로 매우 우수하였으며 $\gamma-Al_2O_3, TiO_2$, 그리고 aluminosilcate 막들은 6,000 ~ 10,000 범위 값을 갖고 있었다. 또한 막의 기공크기 및 분획분자량을 제어하기 위한 방법으로서 $TiO_2$ 복합막을 300 ~ 700$\circ$C 에서 열처리하였으며 이들에 대한 분획분자량 변화를 비교 분석하였다.

Development of a model system for mode of action studies of $SO_2$ was attempted with a plant tissue. Leaf disks, 1.0cm diameter, cut from the lamina of lettuce leaves, were floated on the testing medium and placed in light or dark condition to investigate the discoloration pattern with various sources of $SO_2$. Discoloration of leaf disks tended to be more serious with higher concentrations of $SO_2$ and on exposure to the light. Leaf disks were more severely discolored at lower pH with constant SO2 concentration. These discoloration patterns were highly reproducible and similar in all sources of $SO_2$. Spectrophotometric evidence suggested that light-mediated discoloration of leaf disks in the presence of $SO_2$ might occur mainly through chlorophyll ${\alpha}$ degradation.

In order to utilize marine processing waste which would normally be discarded, cod liver protein was hydrolysed by ${\alpha}$-chymotrysin, and the hydrolysate was investigated for the new angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Thy hydrolysate was separated into three major types, with molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) values less than 10 kDa, 5 kDa and 1 kDa of ultrafiltration membranes, respectively. ACE inhibitory peptides were isolated from the fractions passed through MWCO 1 kDa membrane, and purified by using ion-exchange chromatography on a SP-Sephadex C-25 column, gel filtration on a Sephadex G-15 column, and HPLC on an ODS column. The purity was identified with capillary electrophoresis. The amino acid sequences of two peptides were Met-Ile-Pro-Pro-Tyr-Tyr (IC50=10.9 ${\mu}$M) and Gly-Leu-Arg-Asn-Gly-Ile (IC50=35.0 ${\mu}$M)

In this paper, we propose a sensory data combination method by a fuzzy number approach for multisensor data fusion. Generally, the weighting of one sensory data with respect to another is derived from measures of the relative reliabilities of the two sensory modules. But the relative weight of two sensory data can be approximately determined through human experiences or insufficient experimental data without difficulty. We represent these relative weight using appropriate fuzzy numbers as well as sensory data itself. Using the relative weight, which is subjective valuation, and a fuzzy-numbered sensor data, the fuzzy weighted average method is used for a representative sensory data. The manipulation and calculation of fuzzy numbers can be carried out using the Zadeh's extension principle which can be approximately implemented by the $\alpha$-cut representation of fuzzy numbers and interval analysis.

기존의 웹 문서 분류 시스템서는 많은 시간과 노력을 요구하며, 연관 단어가 아닌 단일 단어만으로 웹 문서들을 분류하여 단어의 중의성을 반영하지 못해 많은 오분류가 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 협력적 필터링을 위한 연관 단어 빈도를 사용한 웹 문서 분류 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서는 웹 문서 내에서 단어들을 추출하고 빈도 가중치를 계산한다. 추출된 단어를 Apriori 알고리즘에 의해 연관 규칙을 생성하고 신뢰도에 단어 빈도 가중치를 반영한다. 수정된 신뢰도를 ARHP 알고리즘에 적용하여 연관 단어들 사이의 유사정도를 계산하고 유사 클래스를 구성한다 생성된 유사 클래스들을 기반으로 웹 문서를 $\alpha$-cut을 이용하여 분류한다 성능평가를 위해 기존의 문서 분류 방법들과 비교 평가를 하였다.

본 논문에서는 급성복통(acute abdominal pain)의 진단을 위하여 퍼지관계곱에서 이용하는 퍼지조건연산자와 알파절단(alpha-cut)의 적합한 선택에 관하여 논의한다. 퍼지관계곱은 퍼지조건연산자를 이용하여 적절히 처리되는데 퍼지조건연산자는 이진 조건 연산과는 달리 다양한 방법으로 구현이 가능하여 적용되는 분야에 연관되어 적절히 선택되어져야 한다. 본 논문에서는 급성복통 진단을 위한 휴리스틱 탐색기법을 설계하고 이에 가장 적합한 퍼지조건연산자와 알파절단을 제안한다. 제안된 퍼지조건연산자와 알파절단의 효율성을 증명하기 위하여 평균 진단성공율을 증가시키는 관점에서 모든 경우의 퍼지조건연산자와 알파절단에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 수행한다.

In this paper, we developed three theoretical models based on prey and predator that exhibit holling-type response functions. In both a fuzzy and a crisp environment, we have provided a mathematical formulation for the prey predator concept. We used the signed distance method to defuzzify the triangular fuzzy numbers using the alpha-cut function. We can identify equilibrium points for all three theoretical models using the defuzzification technique. Utilizing a variational matrix, stability is also performed with the two species model through three theoretical models. Results are presented, followed by discussion. MATLAB software is used to provide numerical simulations.
