절화 백합 잎마름병 방제 및 품질 보존을 위한 감마선 150 Gy와 Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate 병용처리 (Combined Treatment with Gamma Irradiation and Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate to Control Leaf Blight and to Preserve Cut Lilies)

  • 절화 백합 조직에 손상을 일으키지 않는 수준의 감마선을 이용한 검역 현장적용을 위해 수출용 오리엔탈 계통 백합 품종 중 흰색인 시베리아와 분홍색인 소르본느 절화 백합에 150 Gy 감마선 조사(irradiation)를 실시하였다. 감마선 150 Gy와 다양한 수준(0, 40, 100, $200{\mu}g/l$)의 NaDCC를 병용처리하여 두 품종의 절화 백합의 잎마름병 방제를 평가한 결과, 꽃잎의 발병률(incidence)은 대조구 93%-95%에 비해 150 Gy 감마선과 $100{\mu}g/l$ 이상 농도의 NaDCC 병용처리한 발병률은 76%-83%로 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. 하지만 꽃잎의 발병도(severity)에서는 감마선 병용처리에 따른 발병 억제 효과는 없었다. 150 Gy 감마선 처리는 만개기간을 연장시키는 저장성 개선의 효과를 얻지는 못했지만, 엽록소를 파괴하거나 생중량을 감소시키는 절화 백합의 품질저하도 없었다. 또한 분홍색의 소르본느 꽃잎의 탈색도 보이지 않았다. 따라서 수출용 절화 백합의 잎마름병 방제를 위해 150 Gy의 감마선과 NaDCC $100{\mu}g/l$의 병용처리 방안을 수출검역 SOP에 제안한다.

  • A guided-wave electrooptic Mach-Zehnder interferometric modulator was fabricated on Y-cut acoustic grade LiNbO3 process. In order to reduce the electrode capacitance, serial capacitance electrode(SCE) structure was adopted. Extinction ratio more than 30dB was obtained with V$\pi$ of 4.69 volt at λ= 0.6328${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. Frequency response was measured by using the swept frequency technique, and the bandwidth of the modulator was about 1GHz.

광촉매를 이용한 셀룰로오스섬유의 기능화에 관한 연구 - 항균·소취성 및 자외선 차폐성을 중심으로 - (The Functional Properties of Cellulose Fabric Treated with TiO2 - Focusing on Antibacterial activity, Deodorization & UV cut ability -)

  • In this study, we measured the antibacterial activities, deodorization, UV cut ability, whiteness and SEM, according to the size($5{\mu}m$, $15{\mu}m$) of $TiO_2$, concentration(3%, 5%, 10%) and dipping temperature($50^{\circ}C$, $70^{\circ}C$) with using anatase type of $TiO_2$ photocatalyst. Photocatalyst is the substance which carries out functions, such as decomposition, removal, deodorization, antibacterial, etc. of a contaminant, in a place with light based on an oxidation-reduction reaction. The results of this study were as follow. Antibacterial activities are increased with increasing of the $TiO_2$'s concentration, and $TiO_2$ has high antibacterial activities for Staphylococcus aureus but it has low antibacterial activities for Klebsiella pneumoniae. The deodorization and UV cut ability is very good, therefore be able to get good effects with using only 3% of $TiO_2$. Every effects are increased by using small size of $TiO_2$ and high dipping temperature.

생마 신선편이 제조를 위한 천연 향신료의 항균, 항산화 및 항혈전 활성 평가 (Evaluation for the Antimicrobial, Antioxidant and Antithrombosis Activity of Natural Spices for Fresh-cut yam.)

  • 천연 향신료를 이용한 기능성 생마 신선편이 제조를 위해, 국내외에서 사용되는 향신료들을 대상으로 물 추출물 및 메탄을 추출물을 제조하였다. 향신료의 추출효율은 향신료에 따라, 추출용매에 따라 큰 차이를 나타내었으며, 추출물들의 성분 분석 결과 향신료의 우수한 영양학적 특성을 확인하였다. 먼저 물 추출물들의 항균, 항산화 및 항혈전 활성을 검토한 결과, 물 추출물들은 항균활성을 나타내지 않았으며, 페퍼민트 추출물에서 트롬빈 타임이 26배 이상 연장되어 강력한 항혈전 활성을 확인하였으며, DPPH 소거능 평가결과 계피 및 로즈마리 추출물에서 각각 $61.3{\mu}g/ml$$84.3{\mu}g/ml$$IC_{50}$를 확인하였다. 한편 메탄을 추출물들에서는 타임, 생강, 및 계피 추출물이 생마 저온부패균에 대해 항균력을 나타내었으며, 로즈마리 추출물은 생마 저온부패균에 대한 항균력은 없었으나, 강력한 항충치균 활성을 나타내었다. 또한 계피 및 산초 추출물에서 우수한 항혈전 활성을, 타임 및 계피 추출물에서 강력한 DPPH 소거능을 확인하였다. 따라서 항산화 및 항혈전 활성이 동시에 우수한 페퍼민트 및 계피 물 추출물들을 이용하여 기능성 생마 신선편이를 제조하였으며, 제조된 신선편이는 $4^{\circ}C$에서 24시간 보관 후에도 페퍼민트 및 계피 유래의 항산화 및 항혈전 활성을 유지하였다. 이러한 결과는 천연 향신료를 이용하여, 저장성이 우수하면서, 기능성, 관능성이 강화된 신선편이 제조가 가능함을 제시하고 있다.

Field Emission from Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes Aligned on a Gold Plate using Self-Assembly Monolayer

  • Field emission from single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) aligned on a patterned gold surface is reported. The SWNTs emitters were prepared at room temperature by a self-assembly monolayer technique. SWNTs were cut into sub-micron length by sonication in an acidic solution. Cut SWNTs were attached on the gold surface by the reaction between the thiol groups and the gold surface. The field emission measurement showed that the turn-on field was 4.8 $V/{\mu}m$ at the emission current density of 10 ${\mu}A/cm^2$. The current density was 0.5 $mA/cm^2$ at 6.6 $V/{\mu}m$. This approach provides a novel route for fabricating CNT-based field emission displays.

  • This paper presents a Built-in Current Sensor that detect defects in CMOS integrated circuits using the current testing technique. This scheme employs a cross-coupled connected PMOS transistors, it is used as a current comparator. Our proposed scheme is a negligible impart on the performance of the circuit undo. test (CUT). In addition, in the normal mode of the CUT not dissipation extra power, high speed detection time and applicable deep submicron process. The validity and effectiveness are verified through the HSPICE simulation on circuits with defects. The entire area of the test chip is $116{\times}65{\mu}m^2$. The BICS occupies only $41{\times}17{\mu}m^2$ of area in the test chip. The area overhead of a BICS versus the entire chip is about 9.2%. The chip was fabricated with Hynix $0.35{\mu}m$ 2-poly 4-metal N-well CMOS technology.

A Fully Differential RC Calibrator for Accurate Cut-off Frequency of a Programmable Channel Selection Filter

  • A fully differential RC calibrator for accurate cut-off frequency of a programmable channel selection filter is proposed. The proposed RC calibrator consists of an RC timer, clock generator, synchronous counter, digital comparator, and control block. To verify the proposed RC calibrator, a six-order Chebyshev programmable low-pass filter with adjustable 3 dB cut-off frequency, which is controlled by the proposed RC calibrator, was implemented in a $0.18-{\mu}m$ CMOS technology. The channel selection filter with the proposed RC calibrator draws 1.8 mA from a 1.8 V supply voltage and the measured 3 dB cut-off frequencies of the channel selection LPF is controlled accurately by the RC calibrator.

수송 또는 보관중 반제품(각초) 담배의 품질유지에 관하여 (On the maintenance of Semimanufactured Tobacco(cut tobacco) quality during Shipping or Long Term Straging)

  • The quality of cut tobacco will be deteriorated due to weather conditions such as temperature and relative humidity, when shipping and long term storaging. The change of equilibrium moisture contents in cut tobacco were under influence of relative humidity and temperature but not humectants. Therefore internal packing materials are necessary for cut tobacco to maintain initial quality, including taste, flavour and musty smell during shipping or storaging. When packing cut tobacco for shipping or long term storaging, desiralbe packing density was 200/$m^2$, For the long term storage under R.H 90% and 3$0^{\circ}C$, polyethylene film thickness suitable for packing material are above 100$\mu$, which resulted in 42days of shelf life.

축상유입식 사이클론의 베인 유출각도에 따른 절단입경 예측에 관한 수치해석 (A Numerical Analysis on Prediction of Cut-diameter according to Vane Outflow Angle in the Axial-flow Cyclone)

  • Dust collecting performance of axial-vane type cyclone for oil mist was analyzed in this study. For predicting cut diameter size of cyclone, the number and angle of vane ($tan{{\beta}_2}^{\prime}$) was simulated by CFD. As the result, $tan{{\beta}_2}^{\prime}$ was decreased as the number of vane was increased and the angle of inclination(${{\beta}_2}^{\prime}$) decreased, and it cause strong swirl flow. Therefore, it could be confirmed that as the number of vane was increased and the angle of inclination was decreased, cut diameter size was decreased. Also, by verifying the results of CFD through experiment, the cut diameter size could be $2{\mu}m$ at $4m^3/min$ of flow rate.

접선유입식과 축상유입식 사이클론의 집진효율 비교 (Comparisons of Dust Collection Efficiency on the Tangental Entry and Axial-vane Type Cyclone)

  • This study is about comparison of tangental entry type cyclone dust collector with axial vane type cyclone dust collector. Cut diameter and dust collection efficiency of both collector was compared by theory and experiment. Cut diameter was calculated by an quasi-empirical formula by Lapple and Shepherd. Measurement of cut diameter was conducted by particle counter through dust generator. As the result, cut diameter obtained by experiment was a little larger than that by theory. But the error is within $0.5{\mu}m$ in both type of collector, so it could be confirmed that theoretical value and experimental value were almost identical. And, as flow rate increased, dust collection efficiency was increased. Also axial vane type showed higher dust collection efficiency than tangental entry type. Therefore, it can be said that axial vane type cyclone dust collector has higher performance than the other.
