Aim & Scope

The Journal of Preventive Veterinary Medicine (J. Prev. Vet. Med., pISSN 2289-7991, eISSN 2287-8009) is an international scientific journal of The Korean Society of Preventive Veterinary Medicine, and it was renamed in 2012 after the Korean Journal of Veterinary Public Health (Kor. J. Vet. Publ. Hlth., pISSN 1225-1739) launched in 1975 to reflect the expanded importance of preventive veterinary science. J Prev Vet Med has as its objective the publication and dissemination of original articles, review articles, short communications and case reports in all fields of preventive veterinary medicine, including veterinary public health, zoonoses, veterinary epidemiology, food borne disease, environmental hygiene and veterinary infectious disease written by English. It is published quarterly in March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31 each year. All of the manuscript are peer-reviewed. All or part of the content is indexed/tracked/covered by KCI, EBSCO, ProQuest, CrossRef and GoogleScholar. All articles are available free in both print and electronic forms ad http://www.jpvm.kr/.
