Aim & Scope

Journal of Endocrine Surgery (J Endocr Surg) is an official publication of Korean Association of Thyroid and Endocrine Surgeons (KATES). J Endocr Surg is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access published journal covering clinical and basic science information to physicians and researchers in the field of endocrine surgery. J Endocr Surg was first published in 2001 and published quarterly (30th of March, June, September, and December) including abstract book of 1st and 2nd half congresses of the Korean Association of Thyroid and Endocrine Surgeons. The ownership of this journal belongs to the Korean Association of the Thyroid and Endocrine Surgeons, which pays for all costs related to publication and operation of the journal. The journal does not have any other business model, advertisement policies nor marketing policies. Membership of the Thyroid and Endocrine Surgeons does not affect the decision on the reviewed articles. The Journal publishes original articles, reviews, short communications (case report, letters to the editor, how I do it, Q&A). Material submitted for publication should be the result of a recent investigation, should be scientifically sound, and should be theoretically well organized. Manuscripts are considered for publication with the understanding that they have not been submitted elsewhere and have not been and will not be published elsewhere. All or part of the Journal is indexed in KoreaMed and KoreaMed Synapse. JES is an Open Access journal : available free in both print and electronic form at https://jes-online.org.
