Aim & Scope

The Korean Journal of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research (Korean J Helicobacter Up Gastrointest Res) is an official publication of Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research. This journal was first published in 2001. This Journal publishes the articles in a wide range of experimental and clinical areas in Helicobacter infection and upper gastrointestinal diseases including epidemiology, bacterial physiology, molecular biology, pathogenesis, pediatrics, treatment and vaccines. The aims of the Journal are to provide the basement and in-depth improvement in Helicobacter infection and upper gastrointestinal diseases research and clinical practice in Korea and moreover to enhance an active communication between the members. Manuscripts will be considered for publication in the form of original articles, case reports, reviews, brief communications and editorials. The Journal is published four times a year (on the 10th March, June, September and December) and distributed to the members of Korean College of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research, medical schools, libraries and related institutes. Providing free access to the full text of all current and archived articles on its website (www.helicojournal.org), the journal is indexed in KCI, KoreaMed, KoreaMed Synapse, KoMCI and DOAJ, also searchable through the Google Scholar search. The Korean Journal of Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research print and digital subscriptions are available on the website www.helicojournal.org. For individual subscribers, the annul subscription fee is 50,000 KRW.
