This paper is discussed to prepard reference data as a bassic study for Hangeul Character recognition and to extract 2 - Dtransform Korean Charater Image, The 1959 Hangeul Characters is established to form the total 170patterns of 17 formats classified by the initial soun, middle sound and terminal sound and prossessed the 2-D Korean Character Image. Using Superpostion theormm, we are applied to recognition Algorithm. For 50's Hangeul, the recognition efficiency is calculated by computer simulation.

In this paper, the advantages of buffer insertion access method in comparison with other access methods to local area networks are analyzed. Sending and Receiving protocols in a data link layer are designed by a software method, We have derived both qeueing delays and the response time for the performance model that is proposed in this paper, and using the computer simulation, analyzed the performance for the proposed model in terms of the throughput rate- response time characteristrics. Based on the proposed model, the hardware design is implemented.

When the received sequence is not identical to the transmitted code word due to the channel nose effect, it is necessary to detect and correct errors. In this paper, it is shown how to construct the encoder and the decoder using cyclic product codes. this system combines random and burst error correction and is easily decodable. Performance has been obtained as expected.

The majority - logic decoding algorithm for Geometry code is more simply imlemented than the known decoding algorithm for BCH codes. Thus, the moderate code word, Geometry codes provide rather effective error control. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Reed - Muller code and to design the encoder and decoder circuit and to find the performance for (15, 11) Reed - muller code. Experimental results show that the system has not only single error - correcting ability but also good performance.

A design of digital loaded-line phase shifter circuits with PIN Diode is presented. A computer program showes that any phase difference which is satisfied with the condition of minimun VSWR can be obtained with variable stub length and spacing between stubs. A 30 phase bit is designed and measured at 3Gh. Experimental and theoretical performance are compared and found to be in good agreement.

The mode spot size is a fundamental parameter of a single mode optical fibre which determines especially the spilces and the microbending loss. The spot-size measurement is recognised to be a useful mean to define the cut-off wavelength of single-mode fibres, ESI parameters and to predict the modal dispersion. To determine the ESI parameters, this paper is based on the use of a Ronchi ruling.

Using LED sources, the system that performs optical logic function of the input data arrays will be presented. Sixteen possible functions of two binary data arrays, such as AND, OR, NOR and XOR are simply obtained in parallel by controlling LED switching mode. Experimental result and some examples of application will be given.

The error rate performances of digital modulation systems which are influenced by impulsive noise have been studied in the environment of electromagnetic interference(EMI). We have derived the error probability equations of L-level ASK, M-ary PSK, MSK, QAM, and APK signals. Using these derived equations, we have evaluated the performance of each system and compared each other.

In this paper, the error rate equation of MSK system through the Nakagami's m-distribyted fading channel has been derived in the interference and inpulsive noise invironments. The evaluated performances are shown and discussed in terms of carrier-to-noise power ratio, carrier-to-interferer power ratio, fading figure, and impulsive indexes.

A relation between hit probability and search stage number is presented with the comparison of the open loop and closed loop. From these results optimum transition probability which we must hold can be obtained.

In this paper, the error rate equation of DS-BP나 spread spectrum signal through satellite communication channel has been derived using MTM and the performances have been evaluated in the presence of uplink and downlink noise.

This paper shows that the error probabilities for coherent and noncoherent BF나 systems combined with FH in the presence of single channel tone interference. The performance is developed as functions of the signal to noise ratio and jamming to noise ratio. A specific results for two phases of ㅠ/4 and ㅠ/2 is obtained.

The radiation characteristics of flanged parabolic antenna with microwave absorber are examined in order to reduce the backward scattered field. As a result, the unwanted radiation is suppressed and the wide angle radiation pattern from 100 is improved by about 10 - 18 dB in comparison with the ordinary antenna.

A corrugated eiliptical horn which has the aperture dimensions of 60 x 30mm is designed and investigated experimenttally for 11Ghz - 13Ghz band. Experimental result is that the constructed horn produce on eiliptical far-field pattern with ratio of 1.63:1 - 1.81:1 for half-power beamwidth.

By generalizing the concept of nonlinear switching filter, a transmission scheme for the PRS system is constructed. A hardware implementation of the transmission system is presented and its relations with the conventional system are measured. Our system provides the same speed as the traditional PRS system for a bandlimited channel, but has smaller ISI, Timing-jitter and maximum overshoot. Hence this technique improves speed-tolerance and power of the PRS system.

In this paper, We have proposed the new lee weighted Hadamard transform which retains the main properties of Hadamard matrix. The non-orthogonal LWH matrix was Weighted in the center of the spatial domain. The human visual response to spatioal requencies in nonuniform and that the mid spatial frequencies are emphasized more than the low and high spatial frequencies, the faast algorithm of the Lee Weighted Hadamard transform has shown by the sparse matrix factorization.

A 2-D digital filter with rational frequency response can be expanded into an infinite sequence of filterins operations. Each filtering operation can be implemented by convolution with a Low-order 20D finite-extent impulse response. If a convergence constraint is satisfied, the sequence of estimates will approach the desired output signal. In practice, as the number of iterations is finite, the frequency response implemented by iterative computations is an approximation to the desired rational frequency response.

In component coding, it si well known that a Luminance edge provides better masking of the noise added to chrominance signals. So we propose an adapive DPCM coding system which provides good performance in chromainance signals by using the effect of this masking.
