Abstract

This study is a case study of developing a rural health promotion living lab education program and applying it to a rural field. The content validity (CVI) of the rural health promotion living lab program was 1.00 for the infection control education program, .94 for the emergency wound kit, .96 for the basic ROM of the activity and exercise education program, and .90 for the flexibility promotion ROM, all of which were 0.8 or higher, indicating high content validity. The satisfaction of five representatives of the rural area (deputy mayor, intermediate support organization, and three village heads) was measured on a VAS scale from 1 to 100, and all five scored 100 points. Student satisfaction was 4.86±.38 out of 5 points, with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5. The overall student satisfaction with this education was 6 (85.7%) very satisfied and 1 (14.3%) satisfied, indicating that it was an opportunity to better understand their own specialized knowledge and practical abilities. Therefore, based on this study, we aim to develop a diversified rural health promotion living lab education program and provide basic data for the systematic establishment of living labs in rural areas.
