For prospective teachers, teaching efficacy plays a causally important role in teaching students in the future. This paper aims to analyze the change in information teaching efficacy of elementary pre-service teachers through project-oriented classes conducted for pre-service teachers using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, a nonparametric statistical analysis method. This class was designed as a project-type class that develops information security principles textbooks for teachers as outputs by combining Jeju's cultural elements for students in the advanced course of 'computer education'. As a result of the class application, overall, the positive ranks were high in all factors. In particular, there was a statistically significant improvement in rank sum both the values of informatics teaching and the strategy of informatics instruction. Therefore, the course proposed in this paper effectively improved pre-service teachers' information teaching efficacy.
