Acknowledgement
부경생 교수님께서는 제주가 고향이기도 하지만 제주에 특별한 애착을 갖고 계셨고, 퇴임후에는 제주에 머무시면서 무화과와 블루베리를 재배하며 한때를 보내기도 하셨습니다. 선생님께서는 평생 성페로몬 연구를 중심으로 한 곤충생리 연구에 집중하셨고, 연구생활의 후기에는 과수 IPM에 전념하시면서 현장에서 (고)이순원 박사와 함께 우리나라 사과 IPM의 기틀을 놓으셨습니다. 이 추모논문은 선생님의 곤충학과 IPM에 대한 헌신에 보답하고자 작성되었습니다.
