Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of career maturity major satisfaction, self-control on university students' job stress. Data collection was conducted from November 2018 to February, 2019 in 236 students who understood the purpose of the study and agreed to participate in the study. The collected data were analyzed by frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple regression. The lower the career maturity (β=-.258), job stress was the higher. Also, the lower major satisfaction (β=-.377), the higher the job stress, and the lower the self-control (β=-.275), the job stress was the higher. Through these results, education programs that link students from their childhood to college students are needed to improve their career maturity, satisfaction with majors and self-control(r=-.410, p<.001).
