Abstract

This study was to investigate the effect of problem-based learning according to teamwork competency, critical thinking disposition and nursing process confidence in nursing students. The study was a one group pre-post test design, conducted on 43 nursing students in C Province. The data was collected from September 1st to December, 2020. After the course, there was a significant increase in teamwork competency (t=-3.040, p=0.004), critical thinking disposition (t=-2.847 p=0.007) and nursing process confidence (t=-4.187 p=0.001). Therefore, it is necessary to apply problem based learning in various subjects in order to improve the teamwork competency, critical thinking disposition and nursing process confidence of nursing students.
