Analysis of Case Studies on Contact Dermatitis with Korean Medicine Treatments

Abstract

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of Korean medical treatments on contact dermatitis. Methods : Based on NDSL, OASIS, RISS, KTKP, KISS, KCI with the keyword 'Contact Dermatitis', published in 2001-2020.06.10., total 12 studies have been found and analyzed. Results : Out of 1,046 articles searched, 12 papers were selected. All of those were case-study. Herb medicine, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture, externals, other treatments were used as treatment for contact dermatitis. All of research which selected have reported that the Korean medical treatment was effective. Conclusions : According to the results, Korean medical treatments can be effective treatment for contact dermatitis. Further clinical studies are expected using evaluation methods to analyze the results and to establish high level of evidence.
