초록

오금동맥과 그 분지혈관의 해부학적 변이는 드물지 않게 관찰되며, 슬관절 이하 하지혈관의 인터벤션 시술이 발전하면서 해부학적 변이의 중요성은 커지고 있다. 저자들은 드문 해부학적 변이인 오금동맥 무형성증 1례를 보고하면서, CT 혈관조영술 소견과 함께 하지혈관 폐색성 동맥질환과의 감별점을 기술하고, 하지혈관의 발생학적 기전을 고찰해보고자 한다.

Variations in the popliteal artery and its tibial branches are common and have assumed greater importance with the technological advances that have made belowknee interventional revascularization feasible. The authors report a rare anatomic variant of popliteal artery agenesis, describing the CT angiographic findings with emphasis on the differential point from the occlusive disease and reviewing the embryologic development of the lower extremity vasculature.
