Male Elderly's Sexual Life and It's Satisfaction in Daegu Area

남성노인 성생활 실태 및 만족도 -대구지역을 중심으로-

Abstract

The main purposes of this study are to explore the factors related to the elderly's sexual life continuance and satisfaction in Daegu area. The data were collected from May 1st, 2017 to July 31st in 2018 by face-to-face interviews. 259 cases were used for the final statistical analysis, such as logistic regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. 29% of the respondents continued their sexual life and approximately 55% of them were satisfaction in their sexual life. According to the logistic regression analysis, independent variables such as, age, having wife, and living with wife only have statistically significant relationships with the male elderly's sexual continuance. Frequency of sexual intercourse, number of disease, and the experience of venereal disease have statistically significant relationships with the elderly's sexual life satisfaction.

이 연구의 목적은 대구시에 거주하는 노인들의 성생활 실태를 파악하고 성생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 규명하는데 있다. 2017년 5월부터 7월까지 3개월에 걸쳐 직접면담조사를 통하여 수집된 자료 가운데 259개가 최종 통계분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 이항로지스틱 회귀분석 및 다중회귀분석 등의 통계분석을 실시하였다. 조사대상자의 약 29%는 성생활을 지속하고 있으며 성생활에 만족하는 응답자는 약 55%이었다. 연령, 배우자유무 그리고 가구형태 등의 변수들이 남성노인의 성생활지속에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 한편, 성관계횟수, 질병수, 그리고 성병경험여부 등의 변수들이 응답자들의 성생활만족도에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
