A Study on the Variation in Meaning of Urban Housing and the Characteristics of Everyday Life due to a Change in Social Structure

초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure and pattern of everyday life based on the condition of changed modern society to define everyday life for urban housing of the 21st century. To do this, this study tries the multidisciplinary approach including economics, sociology and demography to compensate for limited discourse of architecture itself. Therefore it shows the newly formed lifestyle of the creative class, which is totally different from that of organization men in the mid-20th century. As a result, the most important thing in the planning of city and urban housing is to comprehend the creative characteristics of everyday life and support this kind of lifestyle.
