8K UHDTV 동향과 서비스를 위한 Dual-Polarized MIMO 기술

Abstract

영상 기술의 발전과 TV화면의 대형화에 따라 고성능의 서비스 수요가 증가하고 있다. 본 고에서는 현재 상용화 단계에 있는 지상파 4K UHDTV에서 나아가 차세대 실감 방송인 8K UHDTV에 대한 이해를 돕기 위한 설명과 기술 동향을 알아본다. 이어서 8K UHDTV 서비스를 위해 요구되는 고전송효율을 위한 송수신 기술인 Dual-Polarized MIMO 기술에 대해 알아본다.
