스마트ICT올림픽을 위한 사물인터넷 기술과 서비스

Abstract

사물인터넷은 단순히 센서 정보의 수집이 아닌 정보의 가공을 통한 새로운 서비스 창출이 가능한 차세대 기술로 각광받고 있다. 현재 기존의 서비스 분야에 사물인터넷 기술을 접목한 다양한 서비스의 창출이 이루어지고 있다. 특히 IoT기반의 운동선수 관리 서비스, 웨어러블 엔터테인먼트 서비스 등 경기력 향상을 위한 스마트 스포츠 분야로 그 영역이 확대되고 있다. 따라서 국가적인 행사인 평창올림픽에 사물인터넷 기술을 접목하여 기존의 올림픽과는 차별화된 서비스를 제공하고 올림픽 문화유산으로 계승되게 하는 것은 우리의 ICT기술의 경쟁력을 한단계 더 높이는 기회가 될 것이다. 본 고에서는 현재 이용 가능한 다양한 사물인터넷 서비스들에 대해 살펴보고 이를 통해 성공적인 스마트 ICT 올림픽에 활용할 수 있는 기숭을 소개하고자 한다.
