Many business enterprises in domestic housing industry are focusing on the development of environment friendly apartments to strengthen the competitiveness by upgrading their company's image through differentiation of the qualities and satisfying the customer's needs. The aims to provide improvement of green building rating system through the average score to allotted point ratio analysis of each assessment of KGBCC(Korean Green Building Certification Criteria) certified apartments. For the purpose, statistical research is conducted average score to allotted pont ratio of 198 apartments that are certified by Korea Land and Housing Corporation through SPSS 18.0 program. The result of this are the followings; Generally, green apartments are failed to obtain 10 out of 44 assessment items in of KGBCC certified. Also there are 12 assessment items that are less effective. Therefore, 22 of total assessment items are needed improving. Limitations of the study as follows; The range of this study are targeted green-certified apartments from 2007 to 2010. Thus, this study is not analyzed green certified apartments since 2010. The limits of this study will complement through the follow up studies.
