Abstract
High-rise construction professionals in Korea are mostly educated by corporate training, but in general, large-sized construction companies only have the training system to cultivate technical employees while small and medium-sized construction companies and construction engineering companies don't have such a system. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest the effective methods to cultivate high-rise construction professionals in line with rapidly enlarging high-rise construction markets. In doing so, it investigates the state of educational institutions, existing training program and training methodologies for high-rise construction professionals. Futhermore, it surveys the educational demands on training programs, intended for university students and in-service trainees. Based on these studies, it proposes an effective training programs for high-rise construction professionals.
