ISO, IEC, JTC1의 그린 IT 표준화 현황과 전망

초록

본고에서는 기후변화, 온실가스 등의 환경 문제로 최근 3년 사이에 정보통신 분야의 주요 관심 사항이 된 그린 IT에 대해 의미를 소개하고, 이와 관련된 국제 표준화 동향을 소개하도록 한다. ISO는 환경 분야 일반적 표준을 개발하고 있고, IEC는 환경과 전기전자 제품이 연계된 표준을 개발하고 있으며, ISO/IEC JTC 1은 친환경 및 정보통신 연계를 통해 정보통신의 지속가능성을 촉진시키기 위한 관련 표준을 개발하고 있다. ISO, IEC, JTC 1의 주요 표준화 그룹들의 그린 IT 관련 표준화 동향과 향후 전망에 대해 소개하도록 한다.
