ISO/IEC에서의 미래 네트워크 표준 기술

Abstract

본고에서는 현재 우리가 사용하고 있는 인터넷의 여러 측면에서의 문제점을 획기적으로 개선하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 수 년 전부터 미국, 유럽, 일본 및 한국 등에서 혁신적인 연구개발 접근 방식 (clean-slate design approach)에 따라 적극적인 연구개발이 추진되기 시작하면서 등장한 미래인터넷 (Future Internet) 또는 미래네트워크 (Future Network) 기술에 대해, 정보기술 전반에 대한 표준화를 추진하고 있는 국제 표준기구인 ISO/IEC JTC 1 산하 SC 6(정보통신) 위원회를 중심으로 추진되고 있는 관련 표준기술 동향에 대해 기술한다.
