Abstract

A solid pseudopapillary tumor is a rare pancreatic tumor with a low malignant potential that occurs commonly in young females. We report a case of 12-year-old girl with a solid pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas associated with symptoms of anemia. She was suspected to have a 7${\times}$4.5 cm mass growing from the head of the pancreas based on an esophagogastroduodenoscopy, a radiological imaging study, and an immunohistochemical stain examination. She was finally diagnosed with a solid pseudopapillary tumor after a pancreaticoduodenectomy as the definitive treatment.

췌장의 고형성 가성유두상 종양은 드물게 보고되는 희귀 질환으로 전형적으로 젊은 여자에서 발생한다. 12세 여아가 빈혈을 주소로 내원하였다. 영상의학적 검사와 상부 위장관 내시경에서 췌장 두부에서 기원하는 것으로 보이는 7${\times}$4.5 cm 크기의 종양이 관찰되어 근치 절제술인 췌십이지장절제술을 시행하였고 조직검사에서 췌장의 고형 가유두상 종양으로 진단되어 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고한다.
