차기 군 통신위성의 발전 방향

Abstract

현대의 전장은 적절한 사용자에, 적절한 정보를, 적절한 시간에 전달하는 군 통신 환경이 전쟁의 승패를 좌우한다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 위성통신망은 지상망과 연계되어 전장에서의 중추 신경망 역할을 담당함으로써 현대전에 없어서는 안 될 핵심 통신망으로 자리매김하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 선진국에서는 보다 발전된 기술을 적용하여 최근에는 군 통신위성을 발사하거나 계획 중에 있다. 본 고에서는 각국의 군 통신 위성 기술 발전 현황 및 적용 핵심기술에 대해 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 차기 한국군의 군 통신 위성 발전 방향에 대해 살펴본다.
