초록

Leflunomide는 기존의 DMARD에 비해서 구조와 작용기전이 다른 새로운 류마티스 치료제로 최근 류마티스 관절염의 치료에 많이 사용되고 있다. 본 약제의 사용으로 인한 범혈구감소증과 동반된 빈혈은 드물게 보고 되어 왔으나, 범혈구감소증이나 혈전성 미세혈관병증과 동반되지 않은 용혈성 빈혈이 발생한 증례는 보고되지 않았다. 저자들은 leflunomide 사용 후 용혈성 빈혈이 발생한 36세 여자 환자를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

Leflunomide is a new isoxazole based disease-modifying antirheumatic drug for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Leflunomide alone or combination with methotrexate has been reported to be safe as well as effective in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Although a few cases of leflunomide-induced pancytopenia were identified, leflunomide-induced hemolytic anemia in rheumatoid arthritis has not been reported yet. We present a case of leflunomide-induced hemolytic anemia in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis.
