Abstract

본고에서는 최신 과학기술 분야의 화두가 되고 있는 생명공학(BT)과 정보통신(IT)의 융합기술에 대해서 소개한다. 대표적인 기술로 바이오인포매틱스, 바이오칩, 바이오센서, 그리고 이들의 총체적인 기술인 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 시스템에 대해서 알아본다. BT, IT 융합기술을 통해 과학기술 분야에 새로운 연구분야와 효율적인 분석 기술을 제공해줌으로써, 인류의 건강에 큰 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.
