부산지역 전출입 기업의 재입지 특성과 산업공동화에 관한 연구

An Analysis of Firm Relocation into or out of Busan Metropolitan Region and De-industrialization

본 연구는 부산지역 전출입 기업들의 이전(혹은 재입지) 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전출입 기업들의 이전거리와 이전 지역의 특성(이동방향)을 단계적으로 구분하여 이것들과 기업들의 자체 특성을 비교 고찰하였다. 분석 결과, 부산지역은 전출 기업 수가 전입기업 수를 지속적으로 초과하여 교외화 현상과 함께 산업공동화가 진행되고 있는 것으로 나타났으며 특히 제조업 분야에서 이러한 경향이 현저하였다. 그리고 원거리 이동에 있어서는 수도권과의 기업이동이 압도적으로 나타났다. 기업이전의 빈도는 거리와 대체로 높은 상관관계를 가지지만 중력모형 등 인구이동모형과 는 일치하지 않았다. 기업 이전의 방향은 광역시 간의 수평적 이동이 적은데 대해 수도권 및 중소도시, 농촌지역으로의 수직적 이동이 현저히 많았고 이러한 현상은 거리와 관계없이 나타났다. 이러한 현상의 함의는 향후 보다 심도 있게 분석할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the characteristics of firms relocation into or out of Busan Region. Especially, it analyses the relation between relocated regions, firms' sizes and industrial sectors of the relocated firms systematically. For this, examinations of former studies about firm relocations, forming of analytical framework for systematic investigation were done. In short, this analysis figures out the correlation between the firms' characteristics and relocations.
