Development of Die & Mold Design Engineering Curriculum tailored for Industries

금형산업현장과 연계된 금형설계공학 전공 교육과정개발에 관한 연구

To meet the need for trained work force from the industries, industry-oriented education for students majoring in die & mold in university level is required. If the new university graduates with creativity and high technology could be put right into the work places without training at the work sites, that will lead to remove the wasting factor in education and reinforce the competitiveness of Korea's technology power. Industries would be satisfied with the trained workforce from universities and the rate of employment will be increased. To meet the needs from industries and universities, die & mold design engineering curriculum tailored for industries is developed.

금형산업체의 직무능력 요구에 적응하는 산업현장과 연계된 실무능력 향상을 위한 대학의 금형기술 교육이 필요하다. 특히, 취업 후 회사의 사전교육 없이 직능별 업무에 투입 시킬 수 있는 창의력 있는 우수한 전문기술인을 양성하여 교육의 낭비적 요소를 제거하고 산업체 및 국가의 기술경쟁력을 강화 시키며 학생은 인력수요자인 산업체로부터 요구하는 현장실무에 접근성 높은 교육을 받아 취업이 보장되어야 한다. 또한 산업체는 전문인력 수급의 어려움을 해소 시켜주기 바라고 있다. 이상의 요구를 충족시킬 목적으로 금형산업체와 연계된 금형설계공학전공의 교육과정 개발을 수행하였다.
