A vast amount of the national college entrance information and a broad range of contents make it more difficult for user to find, collect and compare the data. In this study, we find out how users work to collect, compare data through the usability test and take cognizance of difficulty and requirements on national college entrance information web-site. And then we give the planning for designing national college entrance information web-site through a personalized information architecture(PIA) system. Namely, this paper provides a guideline for designing a user-centric personalized information architecture(PIA) system through the usability test.

입시 정보에 대한 정보의 양이 방대하고 콘텐츠 범위가 광범위한 조건은 사용자에게 정보를 찾고, 수집하고, 비교하는 데 있어 어려움을 겪을 수밖에 없는 환경을 야기한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 입시 사이트의 사례로 대학, 입시 정보를 사용자가 어떻게 수집하고 분류하고 비교하는지에 대한 사용성 평가를 통해 사용자들의 어려움과 니즈를 파악하고 동시에 개인화 정보 수집에 대한 필요성을 검증하여 개인화 인포메이션 아키텍처 시스템을 적용한 입시정보 웹사이트 제작 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다. 즉, 본 연구는 인포메이션 아키텍처에 대하여 사용성 평가를 통해 사용자 중심의 개인화 정보 구조 설계 시스템(PIA:Personailized Information Architecture)설계를 위한 가이드라인을 제시하는 것이 목적이다.
