Abstract

인터넷 전화 기술의 중요성은 국내외 인터넷 전화 시장의 규모가 초고속 인터넷 시장의 성장과 궤를 같이하며 동반하여 진행되고 있다는 사실과 함께 이미 전세계 통신사업자들 간에 자사의 통신망을 IP를 사용하여 어떻게 효과적으로 음성과 데이터, 유선과 무선, 그리고 가능하다면 방송 서비스까지 수용, 결합하여 고부가가치의 수익을 창출할 수 있는가 하는 방법적 선택이 현안이 되고 있다는 현실에서 명백한 것으로 판단된다.(중략)
