A History of Research Industry in Korea

한국 조사업계의 발달사

Research industry in Korea has been changed in many aspects since 1968, which the first organization was built in. As now, 22 research companies are registered in KOSOMAR(Korean Association of Opinion and Marketing Research). In this paper, it will be reviewed how research industry in Korea has been changed, what is meanning is, and what will be the future tasks.

1968년 국내 최초의 조사회사가 설립된 이래, 지난 30년 동안 국내 조사업게는 많은 변화의 괄목한 만한 성장을 해 왔다. 그동안 나름대로 조사의 품질을 높이기 위한 업계의 노력들도 있어 왔지만, 급속한 양적인 성장과정에서 여러 가지 문제점도 파생되었다. 본 논고에서는 그동안 국내 조사업계의 발달 과정을 되돌아 보고, 향후 조사업계의 발전을 위한 과제들을 살펴보고자 한다.
