실업계 고교 컴퓨터 교육에서 직업기초능력 계발의 필요성과 과제

The Necessity and Task of Developing the Workplace Know-how through Computer Education in Vocational High School

정보기술로 인한 일터의 변화는 다각화되고 급변하는 직업세계에 적응할 수 있는 직업인을 요구하고 있다. 이에 따라 여러 나라와 기관에서는 인적자원이 갖추어야 할 기본적이고 기초적인 능력을 강조하는 '직업기초능력'을 제안하고 있으며, 그러한 능력을 갖출 수 있도록 하기 위해 학교 교육에서 이를 어떻게 실현할 것인가에 대한 연구를 수행하고 있다. 컴퓨터 교과 교사를 대상으로 현재 컴퓨터 교육을 통한 능력 계발 정도를 조사한 결과, 교사들은 상당히 부정적인 시각을 보였으며 컴퓨터 수업이 '컴퓨터 사용능력' 계발 위주로 진행되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육에서 이러한 전반적인 직업기초능력 계발의 필요성과 문제점을 분석하였으며, 이를 위해 '상황 내에서'의 학습을 제안하였다.

The change of job environments with information technologies demands workers' capabilities to adapt rapidly changing and variety of work environments. To cope with this situation, many countries and institutions propose 'basic vocational competency' which is focused on basic capabilities of workers. And also, they do research on how to educate and train students to be prepared for new environments. We surveyed with teachers of computer technology which is one of the information technologies, to find out the competency development level, they expressed negative view on general competency development because of current computer education's focusing on 'using computers to process information'. Therefore, we intended to analyze the necessity and problem of developing the whole basic vocational competency in vocational high school and proposed a 'in context' learning for it.
