적층판 구조 탄소/나이론 6 열가소성 복합재료의 인장특성 및 파괴인성에 관한 연구

Tensile Properties and Fracture Toughness of Carbon/Hylon 6 Laminated Thermoplastic Composites

초록

Carbon/nylon 6 thermoplastic composites were fabricated under rapid and slow cooling conditions, ply angles $0_{3}^{\circ}$//$0_{3}^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}/0^[\circ}/-30^{\circ}//30^{\circ}/0^[\circ}/-30^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}/0^[\circ}/-60^{\circ}//60^{\circ}/0^[\circ}/-60^{\circ}$ by using carbon and nylon 6 fiber mats. The effect of fabrication and cooling conditions on the tensile properties, interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) and interlaminar fracture tough ness were investigated. ILSS was investigated by three point bending test and interlaminar fracture toughness were evaluated by using the DCB (double cantilever bean) test procedure. For rapid cooling type, tensile properties were higher than those of the slow cooling type in all angle-ply laminate composites. The ILSS and interlaminar fracture toughness was more dependent on the angle-ply rather than the cooling method. This is due the structural properties of the angle-ply laminate composites.
