기술정보의 생산과 시장에 관한 연구

Technology information as an economic good has several properties that would seem to cause difficulties for market transactions. There are several institutions used to over-come problems caused by the peculiar natures of information. The supply of information has exploded, thus bringing about the overload of information. We should be able to choose useful information. Production of technology information has externalities of public goods. Financial support is essential to the national service of technology information. The project should consider the properties of technology information and its market.

본고는 경제재로서의 정보의 성질, 이에 따른 시장거래와 관련된 문제, 기술정보정책에 대한 의미를 살펴봄으로써 기술정보의 생산과 시장거래와 관련된 문제를 다룬다. 이를 위해 우선 정보시장의 일반적 특집을 살펴보고, 다음으로 정보과잉의 출현, 정보의 공급과 품질, 정보의 선택과 같은 문제를 다룬다. 그리고 시장이 정보의 생산과 거래를 어떻게 촉진시킬 수 있으며, 유용한 정보를 어떻게 선택할 수 있는지를 분석한다. 끝으로, 정보재 시장의 특징이 국가 기술정보 유통에 의미하는 바를 고찰한다.
