정보사회에서 정보 인프라 구축의 중요한 변인은 초 중등학교에서의 내실 있는 정보교육이 아닐 수 없다. 이 연구는 현재 일선 학교에서 실시하고 있는 정보 관련 교육을 교육과정에 근거하여 시간과 내용을 분석해보고, 그 문제점과 대안을 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 일선 교사와 학부모들의 의견도 설문지를 통하여 조사하여 그 결과도 참고하였다

The educational information for the elementary and secondary schools has been emphasized as the important factor of information infrastructure in information society, Since the information infrastructure is one of the most important skills in information society, information education for students is the essential themes in this era. The main purpose of this paper is to find out the current situation, the problems, and a sound solution of information education in elementary and secondary schools. In order to analyze the current situation of the basis of information education, the current curriculum of information education, and the problem of information education, survey from teachers and parents were employed.
