Ammonia Removal by using RBC in Recirculating Aquaculture System

Abstract
Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) was tested for the removal of total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) by using simulated aquaculture system. RBC performance was evaluated by controlling revolution rate of disk and hydraulic residence tile (HRT). The optimum revolution rate of disk was 4 rpm, As HRT of RBC was increased, TAN removal efficiency of RBC and TAN concentration of rearing water were increased. HRT for maintaining lowest TAN concentration of rearing water was 9.5 minutes and at that condition TAN concentration of rearing tank was
본 연구에서는 양식장에서 많이 이용되고 있는 RBC 반응기를 모의 순환 여과식 양어장에 적용하여 어류에 유해한 암모니아성 질소의 사육조 내의 농도를 낮게 유지할 수 있는 운전인자를 도출하고자 하였다. 본 시스템에서 사용된 회전원판 반응기의 최적 원판회전수는 4 rpm으로 가장 안정 적으로 생물막이 유지되고 가장 높은 제거율을 나타내었다. 수리학적 체류시간의 증가에 따라 회전원판반응기의 암모니아성 질소 제거율은 증가하여 40분의 수리학적 체류시간에서
